Not sure if this is the right forum, so I apologize if I'm posting in the right spot..

I found the Pathfinder official wiki, and there seems to be some great information on there, but every time I go to the web page it freezes up within a few minutes and locks down IE.

I tried fromthree different computers now, and on each one the web site eventually locked up, usually after only a few minutes.

I'm just curious if everyone has this problem or just me?

Have you tried any other browsers? It works fine for me in both Firefox ans Chrome.

never had a problem with the wiki. and IE is the only browser i use.

Glad you find the wiki helpful. As for your technical issue, I haven't heard of this before and can't think what the issue might be. Do you have the same problem when you go to other wikia sites like WoWiki, Memory Alpha, or Wookieepedia? If so it might be a problem with wikia, but if not I don't know what to tell you.

Also did you make an account on the wiki? If you make an account it blocks many of the flash adds that show up for non-members, it may be these adds that are freezing your seassion.

I tried both of these fixes and I don't have the problem with IE freezing up anymore. I'm not sure which fix actually rectified the problem, but its gone. I appreciate the quick responses. Thanks.

As far as the wiki goes, its great. My friends and I are all very new to the pathfinder setting and it has hosts of information. Its helped a ton. Great job to everyone who has worked on it!

which URL are you using? http://pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page is the direct link... www.pathfinderwiki.com was the old link, but seems to have issues forwarding to the wiki since wikia went down on Monday or Tues... I've have a few windows freeze when using the old link.. I use firefox, but will go browse around in IE now to see if its anything else.
