Well now. After seeing the price of a carton of Doral Cigarettes, I do not feel so bad about my massive RPG / DVD / Book collection. Said prive for a carton of Doral Cancer Sticks is around $34. My ex- smoked a carton a week on average. That equals around $34 x 52 = $1768 per year. Multipy that by 5 years... $8840 or so... ~thinks~ Yea, that is about right. ~wistles~ Damn, but I am glad I do not smoke!!!
That's why my wife says, in regards to my outrageous RPG spending, "at least you don't smoke."
I don't know how people can even afford to smoke!
Me either. I feel guilty when I buy a RPG book that I know that I will never play. OTOH, I do try to read what I buy.
Yeah, I knew I was buying too much when I couldn't read all the things that I bought. The third-party 3e glut was not good for me.

That's nothing. Out here a pack, not a carton, a pack, cost from $15-$25 depending on the size and brand. Theya re taxed through the roof! Cartons run up around the $100 mark!

Morning all.
Yeah, speaking of gaming goodies, I still haven't gotten through all of the Green Ronin I picked up. Still, at $2 a whack, I can wait.
Anyone waiting on Razor Coast? It's supposed to ship this month (finally)
Everyone who sent good vibrations my way, thank you. Send some more today, it's going to be a long one!
Good news is that my foster daughter has calmed down a bit. We are hoping she can keep things together. My daughter is still sick, but there is no fever, thank the Great Architect.
Moorluck, glad you feel better. CB, glad your fiancee is better. Anyone else I missed in the crush of posts Thanks again for the happy vibrations.

Yeah I picked up a fair few of the cheap Green Ronin stuff that I've only been able to flip through, not to mention a couple of Dragonlance ones and all of the Nyambe and Warlord Ones.

And I am off to bed in a minute, as I now have to get up and go into work early, early tomorrow instead of Friday. Seems my mother told me the wrong day before she left and like the idiot I am I didn't bother to actually read the e-mails from the customer telling me about the order. *sigh*

Good morning, everyone! This will be my last post until I find a "secret bunker" from which I can post later.
Patrick, more good vibes going your way. I hope your day isn't too hectic, and that your family gets/continues to get better.
Moorluck, have a good day at work. I hope you are feeling better too.
Hi, Flash. Glad to hear you're getting *some* sleep. Sorry you've got a crappy day ahead of you.
I will be getting the Razor Coast book. I'll be steal...borrowing ideas from it for my PFRPG home campaign, which will start very soon now that my son is done with his weekend marching band schedule.
To everyone else, I hope you have a great day.

Gary's dream of one day owning his own Llama farm was dashed when the evil Erik blackmailed the bank manager into denying Gary's loan. Meanwhile, Mariah was shocked to learn that the young boy she had adopted from Africa was actually a local Warlord looking to retire to a life of peace in the US. And Jackie received a surprise, when three midgets....No wait, that's James Jacob's soap opera.

Say, aren't those the lyrics to "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" by the Backstreet Boys? I didn't know you were in that band!

I can always hear my supervisor coming because she wears shoes without a back, so it's "flap flap flap" down the aisle. It's other managers that I have to worry about, that will be too quick to tell her that I'm surfing the net.

There was also that suggestion about calling your manager when you hear them coming so they run back to their desk. It sounded like a good idea, but then it occurred to me that if you know they're coming, you can just close/minimize your browser. It's only an issue when you don't know they're coming.

Well, I finally managed to sort out what my issues were with the stupid webcam. Apparently the software didn't install properly the first time so I had to go back and do it again. This time it should work.
And on a not so good note, Bryce had to stay home from school today. He's still sleeping now, poor thing. When I went to check on him this morning he didn't even wake up, and he normally is up and chattering as soon as I open the door. And he was clearly running a fever. If I had tried to send him to school they would have sent him straight back home. Hopefully the extra sleep will help him get better.

Morning is a time of preparation, adjusting expectations, and de-grumpifying.
And apparently, for zombies, an emotionally fragile time.
