Kobolds in the Hall
Corrin Halfmoon,

26 Young Thief Col Final avatar

I think we lost Jocarra at some point.

Corrin runs forward and sends a bolt of light at the oncoming kobold warrior.

Moving to 11H and using Chaos Bolt on K2. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Just had a quick look back and unless I missed another one, her last post was on july 23 on p8.

Laz,

B 4 Mothman 2 Final avatar

I'll DMPC for now. And will faze her out after this adventure. Posts to come later... Live game today

Adrana Louise,

18-Noble-Figurine avatar

Hey guys, I feel terrible that my posting has been lacking lately. Work has been quite busy for me considering that I'm working for a promotion as well as it being time to prepare for holiday season. My sister has also been sick so I've been taking care of her kids, because I have limited time to work with in a play by post basis currently I feel that it will be best for me to drop out of this game and a couple of my other games to help keep them alive for your sake, in addition to giving me more time to keep my own game alive and kicking. It has been completely wonderful gaming with you and I hope that we can play together in other games once my schedule has opened back up some. Thanks again for having me.

Also, I know some of you are doubled up in my other games so I'm sorry if this note is somewhat cookie cutter I just wanted to make sure I got all the information to everyone involved.

Move to I10. Disheartening Strike on slinger vs AC. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 On hit, target is rattled, -2 to attacks TEOMNT

Lareth,

07-Throne-Battle 1 avatar

With a combat yell, Lareth lunges at the nearest Kobold striking him back.

move to G7, and Tide of Iron on K1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 damage and I'll push him to E6 and follow up into F6 and he will be marked.

Laz,

B 4 Mothman 2 Final avatar

Kronag moves up and beans the kobold between the eye!

Adrana moves up near Kronag and whiles for Bruno to follow.

Lareth moves into combat. As he brings his attack against the skrimisher a pot flies from behind a closed portcullis (line dividing g5 and g6).

Glue Shot 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 vs Reflex; Immobilized (save
ends).

The pot shatters covering the warrior in a sticky mess,

Designed to bar large creatures the skirmisher behind it easily passes through and jabs at Lareth.

Spear 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17; Miss

Seeing an opening in his defenses Lareth's target strikes

Spear 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8; Miss

Lareth scimitar strikes true on one of his attackers, and before it can react he slams it with his heavy shield. It flies into the next square, Lareth on it's tail.

Which, sadly, won't take effect for a good, long while.

Brazimal,

Brazimal begins weaving a more complicated spell hoping to end this fight faster.

Cast Sleep centered on D9. Should hopefully catch both S and K2. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 vs Will. On a hit target is slowed, save ends. If the target fails its first saving throw against this power, the target becomes unconscious, save ends. On a miss the target is slowed, save ends. Then move back to K9.

Laz,

B 4 Mothman 2 Final avatar

Both kobolds yawn as the magical sleep crawls over them, but to the young mages surprise both seem to shake off the effects.

Yawning K2 moves along the side room, weapon at the ready, while the slinger loads another shot.

Sling vs Brazimal 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9, miss

The shot goes low and skips along the floor

"Go" Jocarra motions for Eclipse to strike. The snake appears near Lareth and attacks the new skirmisher

Staler's Strike on K3 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 vs Fort; Damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13, until the end of next turn, Eclipse can be used to flank.

Another Chaos Bolt at K2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

1d10 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 Even, so secondary attack against S: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

The bolt veers off from the kobold and narrowly misses the slinger before colliding with Lareth's foe. (I assume)

Sorry, forgot that. Deals 1d6 ⇒ 2, or 6 damage if the +Dex damage applies.

Kronag,

A 8 Giseil Highres avatar

Seeing Lareth flanked, Kronag runs to (what he thinks of as) the rescue, slamming his mace into the kobold.

Minor, stow sling. Minor, draw mace. Standard: Charge K1, moving to F7. Athletics check if needed: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27. Basic w/2H mace: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 = 22 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Extra damage from furious assault on hit 1d8 ⇒ 8. Total 22 vs AC for 18hp to K1.

Laz,

B 4 Mothman 2 Final avatar

Kronag agility leaps over the edge of the pit, and brains the skirmisher. After being struck from Lareth, it's mind tormented by Corrin's energy blast, and now this. It's barely standing.

Not to be left out Adran and Bruno begin to encircle the skirmisher on the opposite side of the pool.

Adrana strikes out with her rapier hoping to distract the kobold from Bruno's side approach

Circling Strike 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27; Damage 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

the kobold screeches as the dog bites down on his leg.

"Killssss them!" The first slinger hisses

A shot from behind the portcullis aimed at the spectral serpent

Sling 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21; Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

The shot pegs the snake in the certer of it's head. To the kobolds horror though it pass right through and plops into the glowing green gunk.

K3 strikes at Lareth hoping to bring down the warrior before the snake or the kobold turn their attention to him

Spear 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18; Damage 1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + (4) = 8

It then shifts behind the portcullis.

K1, panicked, swings at the half-orc before moving a safe distance

Spear 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 - 2 = 9; Damage 1d8 ⇒ 5

It's attack not only misses Kronag, but draws an attack from Lareth

Combat Challenge 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27; Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

His attack is more than enough to finish off the skirmisher.

Brazimal moves forward and flings a spell at two of the kobolds. Praying that her inexperience doesn't flub this spell too.

Move to G9. Scorching Burst on G4, since its a burst 1 it should hopefully hit both S2 and K3. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 vs Reflex on S2. 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 fire damage on hit (nothing on miss). 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 vs Reflex on K3. 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 fire damage on hit (nothing on miss).

Laz,

Kronag's attack is less than successful. The skirmisher snickers at the half-orc's attempt.

Adrana and Bruno both move in, hoping to finish off their kobold.

Unfortunatly the cornered lizrd proves to agile for the duo.

Still recovering from the fact that it's attack had no effect on the snake, S2 launches another shot. This time at Jocarra.

Shot 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20; Damage 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Laz,

The skirmisher gurgles as Lareth puts the finishes touches to it. Brazimal, not seeing a way to lift the metal lattice, moves to safety.

Kronag readies a shot. Adrana and Bruno head toward the left side of the pool ready to delve deeper.
