I'm not sure what to think about it, feels like a filler,
the last joke is somewhat out of character in my opinion

Yes, I always wanted to run a D&D adventure in a desert where some native tribes learned to ride purple worms.

Course him getting it on to with a priestess of Loki that he had just met was completely in character? It's not often but when surprised he doesn't tend to let his "not so pure" side show, or when he thinks no one is looking.

Also consider he's had a "character revelation" a few panels back with V... he seemed to resolve there to be a bit more pro-active... maybe this is just another part of the more aggressive stance.

Out of all the characters, Durkon is the one who needs the most development at this point. The other five got a lot of meat during the entire "Don't Split the Party" segment, but Durkon hasn't really had anything interesting since way back when he hooked up with the dwarf priestess. I do think the punchline was shoe-horned into Durkon's mouth though - dwarves drinking tequila just seems odd.

Sebastian, when you have a chance go 30 minutes south, when you get past the border look up Enrique el Enano. He will teach you a few things about vino mezcal and agave.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That dwarf priestess ought to come back for revenge, possibly accompanied by Durkon Jr. And I actually think that OOTS suffers from too MANY subplots, but I take exception to this one. It's just BEGGING to come back.

(And it should be easy to invent an excuse why she survived the dungeon explosion.)

I was thinking "she's a priest of Loki god of FIRE" but that works too heh ;)

I was thinking along the lines of her having been teleported out, or plane shifted... but then again, in OOTS, so many problems are solved by jokes, so the previous two solutions suggested could actually be used! :)

Drinking hard is never out of character for a dwarf.
