2: Starting with Second Darkness, each Pathfinder WILL have a short, 8-page or so, side quest adventure. The main adventures themselves will be a little bit shorter to make room for this, and to make the main adventures more focused and, frankly, easier for us to develop and edit (the 50 page adventures are not-so-slowly killing Yours Truly).
This is great news, I really prefer my adventures shorter and if it's good for you too that's awesome. And I love side trek adventures. I think a lot of us are having shorter sessions than when we we young...Christ I used to play all night. Now it's usually only 4 and a half hours.

BRING BACK ZOMBIE MIKE !!
Yeah, those first two parts were enthralling reading... you can't leave us with such a Cliffhanger. We need the conclusion to this Epic Trilogy, especially since I was planning to run it next week! =(
...If you're all so adamant about Mike being undead, can you at *least* give him the decency of turning him into a dracolich? Seriously, the man deserves at least a *little* respect, and zombies just ain't getting even that much.

Zombies have already been reinvented at least a dozen times. While I'm sure Paizo could find something to so to make them cool and new, you'd likely overstress even their creative wit and cause the entire Pathfinder line to degrade as a result.
No zombie Mike! Dracolich or nothing if you want him undead so he can keep writing non-stop!

Maybe we could make him a Zombie just so he could finish his Trilogy, then Rez him, then turn him into a Dracolich? I like that idea. ;)

maybe the grand finale of the Epic side trek was for the adventures to turn a zombie into a dracolich !
I am now prepared for the sad possibility that my zombie-written tour de force will be better received than my living-brain-written adventure in PF 14. *le sigh*

Don't be le sad.
Think le double paycheck.
Oo la la!
I'm sorry, Mike, but I'm going to have to set you on fire.

Of course Zombie Mike™ will be paid in Brains though. We'll just make sure that none of those pesky Gnome Brains get in there! =)
I'm sorry, Mike, but I'm going to have to set you on fire.
Sacrebleu!!!!
...And that would be why. Hold still, this will hurt a little less that way...

I don't actually hate the French-speaking populace of the world. I don't even hate France. I do hate Paris, as a result of having actually been there. And the world thinks Americans are snobs! Hah!
No no, trust me, I live within spitting distance of a bunch of Americans. We're idiots. ;) You're just being too kind. :D

I've no idea if the french comic "Asterix" is as known in the U.S. as in all over Europe but here's my favorite quote: "Ils sont tous foux et je suis leur chèf."
So at least you're not alone. ^-^

Asterix and Obelisk is certainly heard of north of the American border in Canada...I grew up with it. *sigh* Geriatrix, Cacophonix, Getafix.....jokes I didn't get until I was probably too old to be reading Asterix comics ;-)

Man I grew up on Asterix here in Australia... as well as Tintin. I think I wore out the copies of both in my school libraries (both Primary and High School)!
I own a couple of stories of each (Asterix & Tintin) and I even have a Tintin T-Shirt with the cover to "Red Rackham's Treasure" on the back!

I don't hate them, either. I used to hate the language itself, because I was forced to learn it. I didn't want to, I'd rather have started with English, which was not only cooler, but also more useful.
I do hate their beer. ;-)

My French is quite rusty. "They're crazy and I'm their chief"?

Yep. It's something General Strategus ("Nenpeusplus" in the french original) said about his legionnaires in "Asterix and the Goths", when Asterix and Obelix had brought chaos by disguising as legionnaires themselves.

Ha! A trip back 15-20 years, when I was a child! Asterix is probably the reason why I like all things in early history (medieval/ancient times) and fantasy.
I just took some time loking at English translations of names on Wikipedia and I find that some look funnier in English, while some are definitely better in French.
