As a counterpart to this thread...

1. I don't have it yet.
2. I still don't have it yet.
3. Where the heck is it?

Mine shipped on Friday. If the last one is any indicator, it'll take about six business days to get here. So it misses my birthday Wednesday, but I'll live.

At least I can read the supplementary articles in the PDF. I lose the plot all the time when I try to do the same with the adventure. I really wish I could figure out why that is, since it's all the same formatting on the same screen and going into the same eyes.

You've currently got everything set to "hold for monthly shipment", and since we're expecting another Pathfinder, another Module, a Companion, and a Chronicles product in October (actually, in a little over a week) we're waiting for those to arrive before we ship your 14 and your LB2.

If you'd like us to ship the other stuff sooner (paying more in postage), just drop a note to customer.service@paizo.com and let us know.

No problem, I wasn't really complaining :)

I had a feeling that's why mine was delayed as well. We managed to lose a month, so PF 14 was waiting for the October monthly bundle...

I suppose I'm lucky because there's no way my reading can possibly keep up with the amount of Paizo stuff I'm getting... And besides, I've actually got a PC in Second Darkness anyway, so those go on the bottom of the to-read stack.

Hm. I got my PF#14 yesterday despite my being set to ship once a month.

Yeah, but you're not on the Pathfinder Modules subscription list. So *my* October is PF14 and LB2, and the shipment is currently being held for LB2.

Yours is just PF14, so there's no reason to wait.

There's an odd efficiency to Paizo's methods that results in unpredictable and chaotic shipments, and yet... It's *better* than the rigid methods used by older, pre-internet companies.

And besides, if anybody should be able tame chaos and make it work, it should be a bunch of geeks who grew up imagining how demons would run the world if they had control...

It was my understanding that LB2 came in on the same boat as PF14, so they'd both ship at the same time (if you selected to have items ship with each AP or if you have all items ship as soon as possible) or at the end of October along with PF15, D4, Gods & Magic, and Elves of Golarion (if you selected to have all items be held for a monthly shipment). In the former case, I think that both LB2 and PF14 have already shipped to subscribers.

There's a small group of people who didn't get handled quite the way we intended. I've forgotten the specifics (and Gary is out sick today, so I can't ask), but I believe it involved some particular interaction with recently created subscriptions that caused us to process the subscription as though it was the September monthly shipment (which is, after all, what it was originally supposed to be before the customs delay). Your October shipment will still contain #15 and Elves of Golarion.

No harm done. That's what I assumed had happened when I got it. It's only my second subscription shipment from Paizo so I figured delayed items got shipped that way normally.

And it made my birthday, so small treat there. :)

How so?

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

ya know that thing that happens when you take too long to type out a message in these reply boxes?

I think its some kinda time out or something

so when your finally done typing out your message and you hit "Submit Post" it takes you back to the post and forgets your post

you cry out and frantically hit the back button hoping that your message was saved or something... but alas your message is lost into the internet void

that is precisely what happened to me when I was writing my original post here, I actually had a nice little gripe going about Cayden Calien and why I didn't like the fellow

it was kinda long and when I hit "Submit" it was gone. I blame Thais

so being frustrated I condensed my reply and posted a much much shortened version of my thoughts. I think I will post again when Ive worked up the will to write it all out again.
