Any chance of getting an outline of the AP before it comes out?

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Battles Case Subscriber)

Just look at the discriptions in each of there entries and you can get a real basic outline

There is. It's written—it's a spread (2 pages) in Pathfinder #19, so it'd be only a matter of taking those two pages and turning them into a PDF that we can then throw online. The tricky part is finding the time to do that—it's only a little bit of work but it requires a little bit of work from an editor, an art director, the publisher, and the web guy... all of whom are equally super busy, so I'm not gonna make any crazy promises.

It WOULD be cool to have the outline available for folk to look over soon, though. I'll see what I can do.

We definitely need some stability in where and how the outlines are posted.

Rise of the Runelords had it's hidden in sidebars in the Thassilon article of PF1

Curse of the Crimson Throne got 4 pages, but it was in the back of Rise of the Runelords in PF6 (write way to do it imho, but definitely the wrong place)

Second Darkness had it in the right place (towards the back of PF13), but I liked the way it was done for CoCT better as it was more than just an overview of the individual adventures for CoCT.

I heartily approve of the idea of getting it up on the net as part of the pre-launch hype.

The outline is up and available in the Paizo blog

And as good as it sounds, I think I'm glad I decided to run Second Darkness for my PBEM instead of waiting. Legacy sounds as nifty as one would expect from Paizo, which is nifty indeed, but I already have a second campaign (actually first, it's quite a bit older than SD) running along a similar sealed-evil-in-a-can theme. I don't think I could run two side by side.

Still I shall be eagerly awaiting each installment to read for my decadent gaming pleasure.

After reading the outline all I can say is "HOLY SH*T I CAN'T WAIT TO RUN THIS AP!!!"
I've sat on the previous three AP's, primarily due to running other campaigns and moving. But I believe this AP will start up as soon as I get the first issue and have some time to prep.

Uh... wow.

If this turns out even remotely as good as the outline makes it out to be, it should be one helluva ride. Genies, FTW!

So, yeah. After the disaster and disappointment of Second Darkness, this next one looks to be amazing. At first blush it really looks focused and tight (village and city plus surroundings, then demiplane), much like the superior Curse of the Crimson Throne AP (and RotRL #1 & #2, before it got scatterbrained in #3 onwards).

Also looks to be easily adaptable, which (for those of us coming from the Dungeon decades) is a huge plus (again, unlike the mess that was Second Darkness). Looks to be easy-peasy insertable into the Forgotten Realms/Al-Qadim setting (continent of Zakhara, here we come!).

Sorry you didn't like Second Darkness... and I'm glad Legacy of Fire looks more interesting to you. And this type of response pretty much confirms that doing 2 adventure paths a year is good, since if someone doesn't like one, they don't have to wait a year to get another one!

Thumbs up on that policy, BTW!

But SD is awesome to take material from. I surely will not DM it, but I would be glad to be a player.
Anyway, in the LoF outline, is the name Ymeri or Ymiri? It was spelled both ways...

Ymiri is the correct spelling.
