Adobe Reader thinks that any full-page image is a background, and, to keep you from accidentally selecting backgrounds when you're trying to select foregrounds, they make you go to a little extra effort when you really do want the background. Just ctrl-click it to select it (on a Mac, option-click it).

After reading the player's guide, I have a question . . . Is there a difference between exotic perfume and common perfume, besides the price difference? Perhaps one lasting longer or having a higher circumstance bonus? My player wants to know :)
The way I read it, only the exotic stuff grants the skill bonus. The other just lets you stink differently (some would say that you don't stink with them, but that's always a matter of perspective)
