I suspect what happened with the missing Ecology stuff is that the torble was statted up as a stat block for use in the adventure first and then just transplanted into the Bestiary (since adventure stat blocks do not use an Ecology section, it got skipped).

Ecology Environment any underground (sewers)
Organization solitary, clot (2–4), or brood (5–20)
Treasure none

Yeah... and believe me, having dealt with this today, and after buying an auger at Home Hardware... clots can be found about 3 feet down people's toilet bowls...
so we should have an Appendix:
