Surpressing a pity-party sob, went there and enjoyed it much more than a stupid old

"Banquet.

Food! Prizes! Fun! Preview the Pathfinder RPG with the Paizo staff and guests as we enjoy good food, good company, and games galore. There will be prizes! To attend the banquet, you must purchase a ticket.

Prizes will be awarded at this event.

Materials will be provided."

From all of us who are here at PaizoCon, let me say that we miss all of you who aren't here. All weekend I've heard people from the boards talking and every conversation seems to include someone asking "where's so-and-so?" and then being disappointed they're not here. We're having a great time, but we wish all of our friends from these great boards could share it with us. May we all be together in person next year!

Being British, and therefore not even having a Gencon this year, makes me mad at all you folk going to meet all the Paizo guys. Even though we're getting a PaizoCon UK, with Nick Logue (who'll probably unleash cthuluesque abominations on us all)

I wonder if we can revoke American Independence and therefore get cheaper flights over there. Oh well, at least we still have Digestive Biscuits.

BEWARE THE LOGUE!!! Nothing good will come of it and there WILL be lots of blood. And gore. And icky things. And, ah well, you get the picture...

But ... you will also have Sir Pett, Sir Charles and other distinguished guests in attendance.

Logue and Pett between them have written material that is single-handedly responsible for butchering veritable hordes of unsuspecting player characters! What's not to like?

Tru dat. As many have said, it was great seeing folks, but it was often heard "what about _________, are they here?" Sometimes yeah, sometimes no.

BTW, Fray's T-shirts = awesome. Wolfgang Baur had a similar one for KQ. Brazen Strumpets 4LIFE!

D@#$%@n you Hugo Solis! I was looking for you all con, but kept missing you. I wanted to put a face to the name and shake your hand. Don't avoid me next time, I only make Boomer and Mike Kortes into my b*tch. You're reasonably safe.

Indeed. I've popped onto paizo.com probably a dozen times this morning, just reading and posting and reminiscing with the warm fuzzies of a great time. You don't want it to end, but there's another year to look forward to.

Don't worry, it isn't in Indiana either.

Well, the thing I loved about Paizocon is, for me, it's my only chance to meet these people right now. I can't go to GenCon or anything that far away, so this was the perfect chance, and I had a blast :)

Jason Nelson wrote:

That sounds suspiciously like aft- er, wait. This is a family-friendly place, isn't it? I can't say that.

LUCKY YOU!! All those warm fuzzy memories (which would be a lot clearer if you hadn't- wait. There goes the family-friendly alert again.) you get to relive and cherish! Perhaps next year.

Altho my buddies are trying to get me to go to AdventureCon next year, which happened to be this past weekend. Conflict - the spice of life!

I grew up in Indiana. Why the hell would you want to go there? <shudder>

Literally, one of the stupidist things I've ever heard is holding a convention for a large number not always quite HWP gamers in Indiana in the middle of *August*. "Humidity Index" SHEESH!

Come to Seattle! We have Salmon! And.. Cool Ocean Air!

I know what Logue and Pett are planning. Trust me, they won't disappoint.

So what are the chances we could get a few PaizoCon UK attendees to go over to the US for PaizoCon III? So tempting!
