You few, you happy few, you band of brothers;
For those that roll dice and roleplay today
Shall forevermore be brothers; be he reformed 4 ed convert
This day shall gorognard his condition;
And gentlemen in Greyhawk, Faerun and Krynn,
Shall think themselves accursed they were not THERE,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That gamed with you upon Paizo’s day.
Part of me wishes I could have flown out for Paizocon.
OTOH, I have a second round of interviews today for a software dev job, which in this economy (and geographic location) would be almost as good as a dragon's hoard. :-)

Good luck, Delabarre! We're thinking optimistic thoughts for you from the Coast Bellevue.

Finally, a thread for right fellas like us to choke back tears and wring our hats in hand.
I tell myself, maybe next time. Yeah, a man can live off maybe next times... even after they start to taste bitter and fail to fill. But you can only swallow your own imagination so many times before it becomes hard to swallow that you may die before seeing a Paizocon. And if that's the case, what are dreams but haunts, killers? I wish I'd never laid eyes on you Pathfinder!
Pfft. A bunch of people sitting around, playing PFRPG and other games? It's probably not even any fun. I bet they all forgot their dice and are sitting around talking about how none of the cool people are there. I'm glad I'm not at PaizoCon.
I don't need PaizoCon. I'm just fine the way I am...All I need is this d20 to be happy...And that game table...But that's all I need. And this paddle game...But that's it!...and this lamp...But I don't need anything else...
I am sooooooooooo jealous of the people who went to PaizoCon. They get to spend time with the best of the best. Meanwhile I'm stuck here gaming with the same set of social misfits that have only a loose grasp of personal hygene that I see every week.

Well, maybe I do...
WHY can't PaizoCon be in Ohio????
*doubles over and cries in corner*
Hey I wish PaizoCon was in Ohio too! Larry- interested in getting a Pathfinder game together after the release?

Oh, wait. I am.
Woo-hoo!
;-P
Is it too late for me to take back all the kind things I said about you? ;-P
EDIT: As for folks who are missing out on PaizoCon, it could be worse. You could have stopped by PaizoCon long enough to see all of the games getting ready to start, and then had to leave to get back to work, where you'll be every afternoon and every evening for the next three days. Not that I know anything about that.

But they're havin' a Bella Sara competition with valuable prizes!

Yeah I tried that defense to, so how's it working for you?
I hate being an East Coast Gamer. Gencon, Paizocon, a decent gaming store... All are far out of reach. Woe unto me.
QFMFT
There are a few of us East Coast'rs "representing" at Paizocon as an FYI.
Wonder if next year we can file some sort of discrimination lawsuit and score some free trips? ;)

Hello, Apathy. Wow. An emotional state personified. Not my first rodeo. Maybe I can help improve your disposition. After all, I met Chastity and turned her around. (ahem)

I wouldn't bother. :)

If only I didn't have all these damned financial obligations I would have made it to Paizocon. Still I suppose the wife and kids will be worth it in the end. ;)
Unless my warranty runs out on one of them first and they break and end up in jail or something. Hmmmmm...

Not a medic, nor do I play one on TV, but *here's* a shot of bourbon and a soda.
