Call me elitist if you will, but I'm wondering if there could be an event that would reward us more affluent customers during PaizoCon '10. I am sure I bought the seat 12 times over. Perhaps pictures with the entire Paizo Staff, rare signings, etc.

Lock of hair, muhahah!

Andoran (Pathfinder Charter Superscriber)

Then I want a Charter Superscriber event. :)

Perhaps you both could consider 'doing the double' of both PaizoCon (Seattle) and PaizoCon UK in one year?
The two events are a month or so apart (our UK event is on the third weekend of July...)
:D

I'm not sure what the official answer will be, but as far as I'm concerned, anybody who drops the cash and time to come to Paizocon has already gone above and beyond the level of a standard Pathfinder enthusiast... I'd be inclined to include everybody in everything, wherever possible. And regarding pictures and signings - that's par for the course, though you may have to settle for grabbing us one at a time. :)

As for the lock of hair, well... Sean used to do that, and look what happened.

I'll chime in with the official answer, then:

What James said.

Cheliax (Bella Sara Charter Superscriber)

I want to sleep on Josh's couch. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. And maybe some pancakes for breakfast. I like pancakes.

You can sleep on my couch, no problem.

It's attached to lead weights at the bottom of the Puget Sound, though. Is that okay?

That's fine, I'll bring some SCUBA gear, but what about the pancakes?

Can you eat pancakes through a SCUBA tube?

I flight from Mex bearing Wayfinders.... do I earn something? :P

One way to find out.

How about a $5000 Paizo Pathfinders' Cruise? Eat, drink, be merry, and spend the weekend on the high seas with the Paizo Crew! Come aboard, Pathfinders all!

Arrgh, game designers! I'm a pirate an' I'm here fo' ya boooooty!

Note that "everybody" may not include Cosmo.

the answer is yes... but if it comes back up, you get a feeding frenzy of fish around you - its a little gross

Oh, me too, me too.....wait, I'm not going to be there :(

It's gonna cost me around 900 bucks and a weekend to go to Paizo con. I hope that this sacrifice of time and money is sufficent to get a few pictures and locks of hair, even if I do not subscribe to the magazine... yet.

puget sound, eh? My Fiance and I will be staying on Vashon with her family, if you know where that is....

And to the OP... while I know there's been an official answer.... that seems like a terrible idea.

Thank you, I got a lot of terrible ideas floating around in my head.

The one with the squirrel is the worst.

Affluent?!?!?

I have to give blood three times a day *and* work 6 jobs simultaneously....

You sir, are a horrible person. That squirrel had a family.

On a more serious note;

I just think that the idea of giving people with more money some kind of special event is... well, I think it goes beyond elitist. I think it's the kind of thing that, were the staff to embrace it, might just bother me enough on an ethical level so that it would lose me as a customer. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for capitalism, but I feel that Paizo tries to be on the level with its customers as much as it can be, even conversing with us here. What we've grown to expect and even tolerate from the body politic (money bringing special treatment) is intolerable to me... but then again, this is a little too heavy for the boards so I'll leave off.

I'm so elitist that I was hoping for Zootcat-only events. Then I realized how lonely that would be, being the only one there. :(

(RPG Superstar 2009, Contributor)

You're a rakshasa, right? You could always cast a minor image and a silent image of more Zootcats and keep yourself company. :-)

Qadira (Paizo Superscriber, Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber)

Hmm, Pathfinder Society Subscriptions? I may as well get them all.

I'm surprised there isn't one.
