Probably us, since some of us don't actually have official PFS characters.

I know, but chances are pretty good that most of us will leave with one...

Sunshinegrrrl and I have spent the day cruising around downtown Bellevue, checking out every worthwhile coffee bar and restaurant at which to host the sketch jam.

My conclusions: Starbucks owns a lot of property in Bellevue; more than I'd ever realized and propbably more than is safe.

The coffee at Whole Foods is easily the best, and Whole Foods is just across the street from the hotel, but the actual sitting area isn't at all intimate or conducive to work: It's the front area of the store, spread thin across the exit-side of the check-out lanes. It was very crowded and loud on a Saturday afternoon, and I suspect that a Saturday evening would be just as bad. Definately pick up your food here for meals, but it's not what we want for a drawing party.

What we did discover, though, is that the hotel contains a lovely restaurant called the Eastside Grill. And that the Grill has a lovely, couch-filled louge area that we can reserve. Plus, they serve cappuccino! It looks like we won't even need to leave the hotel for the sketch jam after all. I'm kicking myself for not remembering to bring my camera and take a few shots to share here.

You get a +5 bonus to your score for initiative! Thanks for doing the leg-work!

This sounds awesome,
I'll make sure to bring some artistic implements...

And it will be on the schedule, so no chance to accidentally sign up for a cool game at the same time, right?

I'm just a doodler, but I'm super-interested in art, so I'd love to at least sit in a play with you competent arty types.

The way I had it scheduled is post-Iron Illustrator, pre-Paizo Banquet on Saturday, as there's a lull time when they're doing the banquet setup. :)

Is there a real schedule up yet?

I hope is well past midday... I have two events on saturday...

Woot, I'm going to Paizo Con. I've only now starting looking at what events are going on, but I definitely would like to attend a Sketch Jam! Has a time been set up yet?

It will be Saturday, just after the Iron Illustrator competition.

I am looking forward to meeting up with everyone.

Well, I'll be joining but may have to leave early, I have an event that I cannot miss... :(

I thought the only thing on Saturday night was the banquet...

Sounds like it's a writing-focused one...But if you wanna miss out drawing with your fellow Paizonians, I suppose that's okay...

;)

Most likely, once we are all there, I'll pretty much skip the event. I know myself well enough... Should I better give my spot to someone else?

Sold!

Now I have to see how to grant my spot to someone else...

Anyway if I want to get the know-how I can always ask yuo and the werecabbages gang ;)

So, same location as Iron Illustrator, just right after it?

I think we're wandering to the coffee shop on premises afterwards. :D

Yep. There's a little restaurant built into the hotel with a nice, cozy lounge area with couches and coffee tables. It looks like it has good feng shui, too :D

Awesome, Hugo. Where are you staying? Sunshinegrrrl and I are right here in Bellevue, just a few miles from the hotel.

You're worse than my mother!

I'm no artist, but if I'm around I may show up.

I think the sketch jam will turn out to be a pretty large event all by itself. But I am not sure I wanna go if that Sean Reynolds clown is going.

REmind me to tell the story when I popped him in the head. I about wet myself laughing so hard. ( he really is one of the funniest guys I have ever met, even for a racist badger!)

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Good thing Alison and Drew showed up! Too bad that it was so short..... Most enjoyable!
