Now that we have a date and time for our next victory, we must ensure that we reconstitute the same winning team that trounced the Brazen Strumpets last June. My ticket's bought, so who else is on board to once again Row Like You Believe?

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

I am with you Union Brother! Bought my 3-day pass and my banquet ticket!

And....I will have shirts made for us to wear! (Request a collection of union dues to purchase said shirts though)

Row Like You Believe!!!

There shall be two sets of questions this year: one set for everyone not sitting at a table with Mark Moreland and one set for everyone sitting at a table with Mark Moreland.

Trounced? It took you pikers three tries to win, and you wrote the wiki! :)

Spoiler:
Pwned.

But maybe next year I'll have a cooler relation with more people like you Mike :D

You're way cooler than I am, Hugo, so you won't have any problem with that. :)

And yet I walked away with a prize and you didn't. It's not quite a zero-sum game, but you got zero and I got sum free Paizo goodies!

How much are the dues--and do you have the "fat guy" size?

kikai13 wrote:

If you require that size you need to row more!

I imagine Tim can't make money on the shirts, as they include Paizo artwork, so it'd be whatever cost is. (Tim can confirm) If we're doing cafepress or another similar shirtmaking service, we can look around for a company that will accommodate you if it becomes an issue.

I'd just like to point out that there was another team in that final "overtime" round that nearly beat both of you such that there wouldn't even have been a tiebreaker. And that team would be the Best-masters, my friend. And you better bet we'll be back in full force now that you've snubbed us by mentioning only the Brazen Strumpets. So "row like you believe" all you want. We're coming to kick you off your little faith barge.

And we don't care if you know how to swim!

Correct. No money to be made....just collecting to pay for the cost of the shirt.

So, when do I get a confidentiality contract in the post and some store vouchers* for the privilige of designing the questions to torment Yoda with? :D

Edit:
* Or a promise of a Paizo HQ presence at PaizoCon UK next year is equally acceptable, just as soon as Wintergreen nails down the pesky room booking.

We better study harder this year. Or visit the bar less...

I don't think you'll have to worry about the East Coast Gamers this year...doubt we can afford another big trip across the entire country to come. :( We'll see...

If you can make it to the Mississippi, you can do a Lewis and Clark and come by boat. You'll just have to Row Like You Believe!

Nope. Just his piles.

Alright, I may not be on a winning team, but if 90% of the answers we get, 90% of which were correct, come from me again, I'm bailing out for a smoke break for the whole duration. "What's the name of the Whispering Tyrant" is not a question I should be called inside from nicotine satisfaction for.

Not as active as I used to be, but I've got my tickets for the barge, just awaiting my assigned seating. :)

I'm coming back to row some more as well! nothing makes me happier than to think I know something about Pathfinder. Only to feel like an idiot sitting next to Mark.

Here's for living vicariously through others!

Shouldn't there be a separate trivia challenge for compilers of PathfinderWiki?

waltero wrote:

No. Involvement in PathfinderWiki is voluntary, so anyone can do it. In fact, building a personal knowledge of setting trivia (and thus increasing your chances of winning the PaizoCon trivia contest) is a very good reason to get involved, if only by reading more articles and making copy edits, not to mention researching and writing full articles. Why shouldn't we who put in the time get a chance to reap the benefits?

Start studying.

This year's questions will actually be hard.

I have a few question proposals:

"What do you think about Alkenstar ?"

"When will Razor Coast be out ?"

"How many moons does Golarion have ?"

Gorbacz wrote:

It's awesome but got plopped in the middle of the Mana Wastes that were perfectly good before its inclusion.

Gorbacz wrote:
"When will Razor Coast be out ?"

This is not a Pathfinder product and thus is not within the scope of the contest.

Gorbacz wrote:

One.

Next?

Bzzzt. Incorrect. According to Sean, there's two. At least, that's the case with the mirroring within the Fellnight Realm. ;-)

The question wasn't how many moons are there in the fellnight realm.

yoda8myhead wrote:

I know. But the planar traits described in Realm of the Fellnight Queen refers to Golarion's two moons. It's errata, no doubt. Sutter already confirmed it as such. But it does imply Golarion has two...not just the Fellnight Realm. :-D

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

Although this might've been from reading Fellknight Queen... I do seem to remember mention of two moons.
