Hi guys,
I'm not going to officially propose to run a game but, if any folks would like to get together for a few hours of unofficial Star Wars Saga or GURPS gaming, shoot me a PM and we can set something up. I'd like to participate in some of the official stuff as a player but I'd be up for playing or GMing something on the side at some point.
M

Edit: Oh. Maybe there aren't PMs here? lol. You'd have thought I would have noticed. Well how about an e-mail "michaela" which is "at" poorly encrypted "acaciarg" in this "dot" sentence "com".

I'm interested in this one too. :)

I think this event and the Pathfinder Society critique will fill up fast.

I was wondering if you guys were any closer to a posting up a schedule for the convention? I'm bouncing off the walls thinking about what is going to happen at this event. So you have to help me before I end up all bruised and post that schedule soon. ;)

Having a schedule would be a definite help. I have been working on a Pathfinder version of Monte Cook's Dark Space that I would love to run at Paizocon. But before committing I want to have an idea what my schedule will be like.

For those that don't know Dark Space, its a "Sci Fi - Fantasy - Horror Adventure in a realm of Softech and Sorcery" setting that Monte wrote during his days at ICE.

From a post elsewhere on the boards here, I believe Josh said that the schedule, and the registration for the various games and events, wouldn't be announced/posted until the first part of May.

I realize that many of you don't want to commit to running anything until you can commit to a PaizoCon official event. And that's fine. But, it means that your fan-run game will not be in the program. You can certainly run it, as there will be places for you to run a game, but you will have to gather players on your own.

Because man does not live by Pathfinder alone...

Gate of Sorrows

Somehow you scored a golden ticket -- old man Winterbourne's red letter sendoff to Prohibition. The uppercrust gather upstate in an exclusive pleasure palace to toast in a new era of liberty and libations. It was supposed to be a celebration of rare magnificence. It was supposed to be a party.

Greed and desperation made the night a disaster. Treachery and betrayal made it a slaughter. But, nothing could prepare you for the insatiable hunger unleashed through a gate of sorrows.

4 to 6 players, 4 hours
Call of Cthulhu
Maturity Rating: R
No Experience necessary

I would prefer a later time slot for this game.

I must admit, I am a novice to SAGA Star Wars. However, I have just about anything you want to support such a venture. Maps, Tiles, Miniatures. Absolutely buckets upon gobs of miniatures. Complete sets from Legacy of the Force all the way back to to their first set. Most of the new sets are complete as well. Also have all source books up to this day. Naturally I am up for a minis fight if you want to forget roleplay.

Zux- that er... is alot of stuff you'd have to be carrying on da plane... Just sayin.' :P

Maybe driving? I'm just down the road from Seattle so I know I'm going to bring quite a bit of stuff in my trunk just in case.

@Zuxius: I've got a decent-sized box of SW minis myself but have never played the minis game. Maybe I'll bring the cards for them - I've got those stored safely...somewhere...lol.

I'm sure there are better places than Bellevue to discard dead hookers, but if you need help, just ask.

If you are still accepting game entries I would like to run one.

Trouble in the Mines

You just arrived in the town of Thelor as caravan guards from Katapesh and have a couple of days to kill before the caravan returns. While relaxing at the Drunken Rock Tavern you hear rumors about an infestation at the local gem mine. Rumors fly far and wide as to what is plaguing the mine, everything from from fierce gnolls to rampaging stag beetles. Interested parties should speak with Derius at the Jalman Mining Venture.

Minimum/Maximum # of players 4 to 6
Gaming System/edition : Pathfinder RPG
Maturity rating: PG
Player experience req. Some
For what Character levels: 3rd level, I will have pregenerated characters or you can bring your own, speak to me for details.

thanks

Gotrek22 and Gary McBride:

I submitted the fan-run games on April 1st, but I will see where Josh is with his scheduling....

But even if it is too late to get in that way, you have posted here, and if you want to run a game, then bring your game and we'll try and let people know when you are running it!

Sure, I'll bring the game regardless.

Would it be a good idea to bring, say, Cutthroat Caverns, Fluxx, or We Didn't Playtest This at All? I'm not sure if there would be much "down time" between sessions, but I'd like to bring something just in case.

Update for Gotrek22 and Gary McBride:

Josh tells me you will be added to the schedule of fan-run games.

Now you know......

I will certainly bring my Fluxx decks (got Zombie and Monty Python versions too), and possibly several other games (maybe Descent?). If I can get it, I hope to have a copy of Dominion by June, as well.

I'd like to see a Kill Dr. Lucky game at some point, too.

I'll bring my copy of Kill Dr. Lucky, then.

I would like to play Dominion. It looks interesting.
