In the Paizo blog, Mr. Wertz takes a shot of what at first appears to be the upcoming MM for the Pathfinder RPG. However, he writes, Hint: it's not a "beastiary".
Subsequent blogs seem to indicate it is a preview copy of the bestiary, and that that was a pun on the habit some people have of spelling the word wrong... :D
Yes, it was a full preview of the Bestiary. Looks awesome! Wish I could have given it a closer look but everyone wanted some time with it.
QUICK YODA BEFORE THEY SILENCE YOU:
Was the art used for the marilith the badass example shown in ** spoiler omitted **
There was a lot of great art in the book and I don't recall specifics. Nor do I remember if the marilith was one of the pages I got to glance at before it moved into someone else's hands.

"Bess" or "Beess" is acceptable, it's the hard-t that's abominable.
I fawned over the Bestiary when it was at the preview party. It's purty. Erik asked us to keep it Dorito-free.
Whaaat ? There are no Doritos in the Bestiary ?
But... but i love Doritos ! They make great critters ! Much better than these pesky goblins and kobolds !
For the ignorant ones who never saw a Dorito, imagine a Kilmouli with a conic hat. The hat generates a spicy smell (Will, DC12 or hunger) and by contact leaves some colored stains. There are several tribes, such as nacho cheese, cool ranch, pizza, blue cheese and so on. They make great familiars, especially for a gnome.
Vamos Doritos !

I got a look at it too. (I'm in a picture drooling over it.) It was truly a work of art. Not quite as thick as the RPG book, but very, very thick.
Would have love to read threw the back of the book as it had details on augmenting monsters and the like.
Everyone was going on about the artwork. The bar is set high on this one. This is going to be really liked.
I thought September, too. But then again, beans are often a bit hazy about dates.
Be that as it may, I don't suppose anyone got a look at the Pathfinder rendering of the shoggoth? My H.P. Lovecraft fanaticism was stirred up by mention of a Lovecraftian horror in the Bestiary ....

The shoggoth is in J3's Crucible of Chaos as well.
