Are you looking for room mates for Paizo con?

I'm a non-smoker, and I was hoping to find bed or floor space at the hotel from Friday night and Saturday nights of the convention?

Anyone thought about it?

I vote this to be a static thread of its kind. I myself am not looking to torture unexpecting roommates this year, but this was something that helped me last year before the previous PaizoCon.

I cant see staying in a hotel room full of beer as torture.

Unless the person drinking it is a loud lout who keeps yelling 'I'm getting on the traaaaaaiinnnnnn.'

Something like that.

FYI, the Hotel provides a roller bed for $10/night additional (no extra charge specifically for additional people, limit of 4 I believe).

If the budget allows, the wife and I will be crashing at the hotel this time, tthou right now may be kinda early to be checking out for roommates...

Bumping since some others were looking for roommates. Great way to save money everyone! I saved... $370 dollars last year sharing a room with two fun guys! Unfortunately for my budget, my gf is coming this year - but plenty to make up for that.

Hey I want to remind people that you can actually get a better rate at the Coast Bellvue hotel by doing their websaver rate. It's hidden on the site a little, but it'll get you a rate of $79 per day rather than $109. I did it last year and saved a ton of money. Coming with my fiance again this year so not looking for a roommate... but do anything you can to save money!

Sorry to continue the interruption of the roommate thread but @Alizor: how do you find that? I did it last year too but now I'm only seeing $109 and up. Would be nice to save some more.

I am a nonsmoker, non-drinker, non-snorer, early-riser. It looks like I'll be arriving sometime Thursday night or Friday --details still unclear-- and leaving midday Sunday.

This may seem a silly question, but is anything lost by not booking in the same block? Other then room proximity?

I'm not even sure it affects room proximity. I was pretty much next to the elevator nearest the Paizo registration/store/banquet hall.

They had the saver $79 rate up until the end of February and then they raised it to the $109 for that weekend.

That is when I went with priceline and combining with my airfair, I got two for one from the hotel.

And wow, now its back!! grab it while you can. That is a deal.

Oh yeah. Got mine for sure. :) And...it's actually cancellable within 24-hours (not that I will but it's nice to know I can). Last year it was non-refundable.

Seattleite LFG! I live in Seattle, but am considering staying at a hotel since I don't own a vehicle. Having a place to store my books, etc would be ideal.

I'm a dude, shower daily, wear deoderant, do not smoke or snore (not disruptively anyways). I'll probably arrive Friday morning to set up camp and really only be in the room for sleep and switching books out from my pack.
