Are there any Friday lunch plans?

Neil, I imagine there will be enough people around to be able to act as a local Sherpa. :)

If there's a means to somehow get to this Meet-and-Eat event, I wouldn't mind participating.

Neil and Yoda, as Far as I kno Ben will take his car and will be driving N'wah around, and N'wah is staying in the hotel so maybe you could tag along, you should ask N'wah since he's the one who's here more often. If you ask him on any of the the minis thread he's answer sooner ;)

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. I'll be there.

Unless my google map is incorrect, the Crab Pot is only half a mile from the hotel. Bradley and I may take a cab, may take the hotel shuttle (if it is available.) According to the hotel website, the shuttle is free for a ride to anything in a five mile radius. If we take a cab, you are welcome to jump in with us.

EDIT: How's about everybody staying at the hotel meets in the lobby between 5 & 5:20? That way, we can all take the shuttle together or arrange for cabs for everyone!

Here's where I am headed: 3 Pigs BBQ

I have a pickup truck, so if you don't mind riding in the bed, I can give a few extra people a ride. I think its legal so long as there aren't any seatbelts going unused, if I read the internet correctly, and with such a short trip, I don't anticipate it being an issue.

mmmmm ... bbq ... I noticed these guys are out of Georgia, so it may be some good bbq (being an NC native, I'm very picky about bbq).

This meal sounds so exciting. Can't wait. I will be on a big tour of Seattle Thursday. I may miss Happy Hour, but I will make the meal no mater what.

(RPG Superstar 2009 Top 16, 2012 Top 32)

Wow. There's upwards of 30 people meeting for dinner. Given that PaizoCon hasn't sold out its 200 tickets quite yet, we could be looking at 15% or more of all convention-goers showing up at the Meet and Eat!

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

And I should note that this is as many people as we had for the 1st PaizoCon!

Wow.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game, Modules, Tales Subscriber)

I land at 4:45, so it looks like I could make the 7pm dinner time. I don't mind walking the half-mile.

Count me in.

(RPG Superstar 2009, Contributor)

If it's only a half-mile away, I'm down for hoofing it. Add me to the list.

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4, Contributor)

If I'm able to get off work in time, I could pick up a coupla people from the hotel to drive to the restaurant. Neil gets first dibs cuz that's what we call the "Superstar Treatment" :)

Where are you going on your tour? I'm still trying to finalize plans for my family for sightseeing on Thursday.

Any spots still open for dinner at the Crab Pot? If so put me down for two adults adn two kids for the 7 oclock

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

And my count is now 32.

I'm gonna assume about 36 people at this point, and call to see about arrangements.

Here's what I'm thinking: My plan is to not have us all in one room, or to have them attempt to put a bunch of tables together. With 36 people, that'd be 6 tables of 6 people each, or 9 tables of 4, or some combo thereof.

Of course, if they want to put us at tables all in one area, that's fine.

Everyone OK with this?

I haven't taken over the restaurant or anything. They will likely seat who they can seat. If some folks want to eat earlier, or later, than 7 PM, then go for it!

Add 2, for me and Darkhanna!

The tourist trap of course. I will be hitting a lot that day too. Pikes is on the list. I may even take a que from the earlier posts and follow it word for word.

Will they just give us the entire restaurant? By this time, it looks like we need it. :)

Tables of 4 could prevent people who show up in groups of three or four from meeting very many other attendees. I'd suggest tables of 6 or 8.

I think my wife are going to try to make it to the hotel in time to eat so put 2 more down.

Shouldn't you be working?

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

OK.....

Reservations for 36 at the Crab Pot in Bellevue on June 11th. I will need to call to confirm that 36 on the 11th, so we can probably accomodate a few more...let's make it 40-42, tops.

Dinner at 7 PM.

It sounds like we have the upper deck dining area to ourselves, so that'll be cool.

Also, I set it up for separate checks, so we've got the 20% gratuity in effect.

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Oh my, I'm tasting the seafood already... that will be a pre-PaizoCon banquet alright... I hope we can sit as many people on as few tables possible, to try and as many together as possible. Also practical when the food fight starts :D

My plane lands at 7:30 but I'm unfamiliar with Seattle traffic and transportation. Is there any way that I could get to the restaurant before dinner's over on this timeline?

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

I've noticed that several people with flights arriving Thursday night.

Yoda, arriving at 7:30 pm usually means landing on the tarmac. You will probably get OUT of the airport by 8, and provided that the Coast Hotel has a shuttle, ready to go, it'll take at least another 30-45 min. to get to the hotel. You will likely need to wait 15-20 min for the shuttle, though. Arriving at the hotel, you will need to check-in, drop your bags, and hoof it (or catch a ride) up the hill to the Crab Pot.

You'd probably arrive after 9 pm, and we will be done by then. Not sure where the group will want to head after that....

Taig, that goes for you, too, with the 8 pm flight arrival.

That's what I thought. Just let me know where you are, and I'll meet ya there.

Hmm, well drat. Taig, we are arriving at similar times. Wanna share a ride or coordinate getting to the hotel together? Assuming both flights are on time, that is?

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

Yoda and Taig, see the How to get from the airport to the hotel thread I just resurrected....Shuttle Express, $19 each person.

Oh YEAH! Definitely lead in! Where are we going Timitius??? Where are we going after our Eat and Meet?

Should we start a thread, After Eat and Meat?

Too late, beat you to it!

And I imagine splitting a taxi between two people is probably more expensive than $19 per person. I bet that's answered in the other thread. Goes to check.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber)

Crap on a stick!! Is it the frickin' 11th yet??

Timitius wrote:

I just checked the bus schedule, and it's a bit slower than a cab or shuttle, but it's less than $3, so I am seriously considering that option. A penny saved or some such nonsense.

Tim, I should be able to make this. Sorry to not back to you sooner, let me know if there is still room. We can discuss further at Geoff's game on Sunday. Woot!

Taldor (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

By my count, we are at 40 people, which means we are pretty much going to fill the upper deck that they are setting aside for us.

Wow. Just wow, people.

Can we have more? I'm sure that any extras can still dine in the other areas of restaurant....but I think 40 is maxing out the space they're setting up for us (they said 4 tables of 10).

Here's who I have on my list:

me
Russ Taylor
Elora +2
Blazej
Epic Meepo
Zuxius
Kikai
Kosova0140
Zootcat
Larcifer
Alizor +1
Benchak

Jason Nelson
Sir Wulf
Dennis da Ogre +1
Lilith
Hugo
NSpicer
Gavgoyle
Eric Tillemans
Paul Hedges +3

Let me know of any changes....

Got the suitcases out of the attic this morning and starting setting clothes aside. Getting excited now!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to meet everyone! Now only if I'd get my scenario to prep for Saturday morning...
