If you guys have room for another on a sight-seeing trip, I might like to join you. Last year, I stayed at the hotel for everything except the Meet n'Eat and restaurants within walking distance. But I'd really like to take in at least some of the more touristy things to do in Seattle as well.

Second, we really want to load the rooms up with fan-run games in 2010.

I'm toying with the idea of putting together a 4-6 hour session for a prequel or sequel to Realm of the Fellnight Queen or maybe something involving the minions of Gulga Cench. My plate's a little full to work out the details just yet. But I've got until June 2010 to come up with something.

My two-cents,

I'd be down for this Tim. I feel kind of bad that we never got another chance to hang out beyond that initial crab night. Perhaps you could make some day trip cost projections so we can create a price per head count. Then we can hash out over the amount during the next few months.

My plan is to take almost 10 days off for this event. I will arrive way early so I can see Seattle. That city really grows on you fast. Not at all wet and cold. :) <snicker>

My checking account is crying in agony, but I've got two tickets for the Con and Banquet! Thank heavens my parents brought a bunch of food up with them last week to lighten up the grocery bill. :)

Osirion (Pathfinder Campaign Setting Subscriber)

I hope they have enough steak and ale at the banquet to feed me.

This is going to be a blast! Anybody know how early the festivities start on Friday? And how late the go on Sunday? My wife's birthday is Sunday, so I will be driving back to Portland to take her to dinner.

Which reminds me. Anyone from Portland area want to carpool?

Festivities officially on Friday at Noon. However, there is a Meet n' Eat get together on Thursday night, probably at the Crab Pot in Bellevue. This last June, we got over 50 people to show up for drinks, dinner, and socializing. It was a great way to kick it off!

By meeting folks the night before the Con, you start your PaizoCon off on Friday by seeing several familiar faces.

I believe everything was packed up on Sunday by 5pm. I seem to recall that stuff went until 3-ish on Sunday...

Well, I'm coming this year. In fact, my wife and son are coming as well, We are going to fly out (from Pennsylvania) on Wed and make a mini vacation out of it.

So ... my wife is very into antiques - are there any cool antique shops within a reasonable radius of the hotel?

Thanks!

The most fun that I've had in the last two years were at PaizoCon 1 and PaizoCon 2. There's no way I'm going to miss #3!

I got kind of anxious late Friday, when I discovered the tickets were already on sale, and I'd have to wait until Monday to get them!

Thankfully, tickets to both the con and the banquet for myself and a couple Paizo-loving buddies are now in my e-hands!

Can't wait!

If either had sold out in three days, I would be floored. Excited, but completely baffled. I'm eager to see how quickly they actually do sell out this year, if at all.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure, given the launch of the RPG and all.

We all wanted to attend, and we all wanted to make sure that we got into the preview banquet, as well.

Fortunately, it's a go! I just put in for the time off - we're going to get the room(s) for at least a day each on either end of the con, and dink around town a bit.

Missed the first one and I don't plan on making that mistake again.

I'm driving down from Vancouver and have heard a few good things about Private Eye Tours ....Can any locals confirm whether this little jaunt would be good?

Osirion (Pathfinder Charter Superscriber)

Nani and I got our tickets for next year. Excited to play with all of the great people.

QFT. I will almost certainly be staying at the hotel this year. The drive back to Ballard was a killer last year!

My thoughts exactly.

(Well, sub Capitol Hill in for Ballard.)

Tickets are in the shopping cart. I'll confirm the purchase once I've gotten some necessities cleared.

Osirion (Paizo Charter Superscriber)

Tickets posted long ago (first week) - can't wait!

Ordered. I'll see everyone in June.

NOM NOM NOM, I hope the food is as good as last years. I hope everyone else is signing up for that too so I don't end up gorging myself to death.

Wish I had the gold to buy a hotel room, least I get to crash in Everett.

I hope the dennys next door burned down, that place was awful.

Wow, that's a strong reaction. I didn't find it any worse than any other Denny's I've been to. Which is to say, it was your all-around average cheap, greasy eats.

Dennys and McDonalds share one trait:

Guranteed level of quality.

It is never the lowest, but seldom the best!
When you are traveling cross country and don't know local restaurants, you can at least eat at these two restaurants and be assured that its edible (but nothing else), unlike the potluck of playing guess the dish of a local spot.

Well, I picked my tickets up and, if all goes well, two of my friends will be getting their tickets soon. :)

Tickets? Check.
Coast Bellevue room reserved? Check.
Multiple elixirs of sleep brewing to keep children mollified during the long drive? Check.
Wife's shopping and day plans under way? Check.

Damnit. Why, oh why, did I not check this thread before buying my tickets...

Got my ticket, still not sure if I'm going. Depends on if I've got the cash for the hotel and plane ticket, and the time off work. The cost of ticket was nothing compared to the rest of that.

If I don't go then Paizo can just consider it a tip for all the awesome product they've been putting out.

Plane Ticket (check)
Hotel reservation & Paid for (check)

Thankyou Priceline!! (saved over $100) which can now be put toward eats!

While I am fully behind that sentiment, if it comes to it tickets can be transferred (assuming anyone goes at "last minute"/whenever you decide).
