I'm planning on taking Thursday off to devote the required time to digesting the amazing tome which we are about to receive.
You mean "to watch the mailbox like a cat watches a cracked fish tank, only to be a nervous wreck when the mailman arrives two hours late - without the book"?
Nah. :P
Plus, the department doesn't run itself, so I couldn't get a day off if I wanted.

I won't be waiting for the mail man. I expect I'll be curled up with a PDF.
I'm off from work for the next 3 weeks so yes, I do plan on pouring through the pdf on the 13th, looks like i wont get my hardcopy untill 15th-19th, but at least I have the pdf to look at.
But totally unrelated to PFRPG (my little girl needs to have some allergy testing done).
In addition, I preordered PFRPG by Amazon (reason: cost of shipping to Europe), so with some luck I receive this tome around my birthday (end of september).
However, since I preordered after the sold-out announcement, I will be happy if I got it by Christmas. I guess the pdf will have to do for the moment.
Here's my question... and I apologize if this has been asked/answered already, but I couldnt' find it.
Does Thursday at 5p (for the pdf download) mean Pacific time?
Thanks in advance!

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off from work, as I'll be at GenCon. UPS says the book is out for delivery today, so it may well be here before the con...
Since events conspired to keep me from going to Gen Con, and yet I already had this week off working on the premise that I would be going to Gen Con, yeah, I'll have the day off. I'll also be hitting the game store as soon as it opens to pick up my two pre-orders, and that night our group will be converting our Legacy of Fire characters and the PFS characters.

Sometimes it's even more awesome having the summer off because you teach than others. ;)
Considering that I have been unemployed since May because of my job shutting down, then yes, I will be taking off Thursday. :P

Off Thursday, because it is my normal day off. Earlier in the day I plan to help some folks convert their Society characters to the Pathfinder rules, and I'll be running a Society game Thursday night. I have to work again on Saturday, but I will be attending GarageCon (a convention for folks in Columbia, Missouri who have to work at times that make it impossible to attend GenCon)and running another Society Scenario after work. We may also have an informal Grand Melee similar to that of PaizoCon on Sunday.
Can't be in Indy, but we have lots of gaming goodness going on in Columbia!
I was laid off a month and a half ago...I didn't need to ask for the day off since every day is off for me! Of course...that also means I don't have any money to buy the rulebook with...<sniff>

I'll be taking Thursday, Friday, and Saturday off, a total of 24 hours of work avoided by going to Indy. :)
It's the 13th here, and my regular day off. Unfortunately the date of postage suggests I won't get anything interesting until tomorrow at the soonest.
Edit: I spoke too soon. It just arrived. *eyes the book and drools*

Yes I'll be taking it off but as it falls in the middle of my three week field break I'd be off anyway, (I work 2 weeks on and 3 weeks off).

I am off today (it is already Thursday in the UK!) cause I have just got a new puppy and taking time off to settle him in.
That said, my 6 copies arrived yesterday so having distributed them to my group at last nights game I may take a couple of hours out of my day to flick through it!
