Some of the members of my gaming group have posted all over the place some adds for starting up a 4e campaign just to try it out and no one has bitten at all. When they did the same thing for Savage Tide there were so many inquiries that people had to be turned away due to space and time limitations. For as much hubbub as there is around 4e, no one really seems that eager to play it. Not even on ENworld, which is arguably the most pro-4e community online (aside from WotC, but they don't count).

I must admit that I am in love with the artwork for fourth edition. That's about the only thing that I like about it so far. However, I like the Pathfinder artwork better. When is Alpha 3 coming out?

Today.

This is a 4E worg.

That is not a worg. That is something that a company with no concern for their fanbase is forcing on them as a worg. That and the 4E mechanics is why I am anxiously awaiting my PRPG Alpha 3 update.

On pins and needles!

How the heck are you supposed to ride that? I mean, besides sawing off all the big, sharp spines running down it's back.

And no, it's not a Worg. I attempt to disbelieve... where's my trusty d20...

Agreed.

You know this is something I've been mulling over, we're waiting on Alpha 3, and the Beta comes out in August, but what do call the final version? Omega?

...actually that sounds pretty badass come to think of it.

That != Graypelt.

NEED ALPHA 3!

Qadira (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

That can't be Greypelt.

We have a very nice picture of Greypelt. I showed it to my players last night, just before they killed him.

One of them took the hide, so they have proof that Greypelt looks like a wolf, not somekind of lizard.

Hey, it could make a nice mount for a kobold.

I'm looking forward to their take on the monk. The "master of combat maneuvers" comment in another thread really peaked my curiosity... :)

My college History advisor was named David Frye. One letter off. Also on the opposite side from Washington (CT) and a closet D&D player...

weird.

Um, its three hours no matter where you are.

Not if you're on that island in LOST, which is kind of like England with less rain...

He might not get it until the middle of next week.

Gotta agree. I've always been a monk fan,and I'm really looking forward to see Pathfinders improvements.

The ranger. I have found that I usually play a ranger best and like the feel of the class. Since I have generally like the way that Pathfinder has reworked the classes so I'm waiting to see how they have changed my favorite class.

Reading the messages posted here, I have come to realize that there are a lot of people outside of the US eagerly awaiting Alpha 3. Does anybody know percentages of where people are from that are playing/reading Pathfinder? Just curious what the demographics look like.

I'm from South Dakota, USA.

BTW you don't have to post where you are from, I was just curious. And thought that this may be a good topic to burn through three hours of waiting.

My thought was that if there was ever a class that was overdue a fix, its Bard.

Well I'm not a closet D&D player, I'm pretty open about it. I am, however, a history teacher. Weird.

When speaking, how do you say that? Like "Eighteen thirty" or what?

I wish the US did use the 24hr clock it would save alot of headaches with AM/PM mix ups.

Orlando, Florida, USA for me

I can't say there isn't anything that I'm not looking forward to in A3. I love Monks, I'm honestly curious about the changes to Ranger. I guess I /could/ care less about bards.

The conversion rules and the Monster Creation rules seem to be one of the things I would like to see most.

2 hours and 20 minutes left.

You made me think about it and we are actually using both... somehow.

Our digital clocks (and all written times) use military time, but our "analog" clocks (you know the one which the small and the big pointers) are naturally 12 hours a full round.
Actually, we use both military and am/pm to name the time, but we just don't SAY AM/PM, since... Honestly, when do you NOT know if it's before or past midday (Other than near polar circle?)
