Hi!
So, I'm obviously not terribly smart (good to get that disclaimer out of the way), but about a month ago I noticed a thread that kind of showed a possible turn by turn scenario for the Crimson Fleet's attack on Farshore. I should have saved it then, but seeing how we were still a good distance from that happening, I filed it away in the back of my brain for later reference.
Well, I'm running the pirate raid in just a bit here, and imagine my chagrin when I came back to find the thread had been skuppered. Does anyone have a way to link to the original thread, or a copy of it, or, y'know, any idea at all what I'm tlaking about? I'm a little nervous, as this'll be my first big convoluted battle as a DM, and all I can think of are the thousands of things I can forget and/or mess up...

Yeah, that was weird. I tried doing some browsing, but it just sent me back to the current board listing. But as I said, I'm not terribly bright.

Anyway, thanks again for your help, guys! My poor players will be horrified by my newly gained organisational skillz. That's right. Skillz. With a "Z". And those skillz? They're quite mad.

Never mind, I managed to find it.
This happens if some one follows the link and posts on the thread. Any post on a thread in the archives revives it from the dead and sends it back to the the sub forum where it was originally born. This however changes the threads location and makes the links address wrong.
BTW the final battle with Vanthus is quite a let down, I would plan on adding something to the encounter to spice it up if you want your party to get the feeling of a last pitched battle at the end.
My PC's mowed through him and 2 Vrock's I held back to attack with him in about 6 rounds.
Well, my PC's are about to tackle him. The rest of the attack on farshore took until 4am, so we packed it up after they dropped the vrocks. I ended it on a cliff hanger where the last thing they hear is Lavina screaming "Vanthus".
I don't think I will have to do anything to him. All the PC's are out of spells (except some level 1s and 0s) and they are all at 1/2 hps or less. I expect Vanthus will challenge them greatly, with a good chance of killing one or two.
