James I was wondering If Demogorgon's origins will be revealed In the last 4 issues? I know secrets about him will be revealed to the PC's In order to fight him better. It may have no rellevancy to the game but just curious about the Prince of Demons, and this would just be a perfect time and place to learn even more about ol' two heads. Like who are his parents? I'm thinking It would make sense If Dagon was his father since Demogorgon hangs with him and has been learning from him. And I can picture Mom being Pale Night, actually I think It would be rather cool If she was the mother to all the more Important Demon Lords. I was hoping to see an Adventure Path centered on Pale Night, she Is such an enigma.

Demogorgon's origins are schedlued to be detailed in Dragon #357, which is the issue that'll have the "Demonomicon of Iggwilv: Demogorgon" in it. There'll be plenty of Demogorgony backstory there, trust me!
As for his origins... let's just say that he didn't really have a proper mom or dad...

What about a dossier on Iggwilv herself? Come on James or Erik, someone has to brave it! Wayne Reynolds painting of her and Graz'zt beg for a companion piece. She's a cornerstone of the Greyhawk universe. Better that you guys do it with the love and style you are known for while you can. If you won't do, tell us why (and no using because we ran out of space and time). Is her past off limits, or just that intimidating?
Let me put this another way, "Please, create the difinitive Iggwilv for all of us Greyhawk fanboys before it is too late."

And really, that would contrast well with the origins of the other two members of the Big 3 of the Abyss, since Orcus started out as a mortal petitioner, and Grazz't was born by Pale Night.
But then again, I could be reading your allusion wrong and be totally off base about what you're planning for Demogorgon's origins. :)

As for his origins... let's just say that he didn't really have a proper mom or dad...Sounds like the origin story given for him in the "Ecology of the Kuo-Toa" article in Dragon #355. It would be very cool to see that developed further.
I'm assuming you're actually talking about the "Ecology of the Kopru" in Dragon #354 (since #355 had the Ecology of the Devourer?). In any event, the actual genesis/source of Demogorgon as detailed in the Demonomicon of Iggwilv is different than the kopru myth. Why are they different? Well... that's basically the difference between myth and history, really. And in the end, if one creation myth strikes your fancy more than another, the awesome of this game is that you as the DM get to choose which one's right. :-)

Orcus's origins as a mortal, and his petitioner in the Abyss ultimately climbing the tanar'ri ranks from the bottom up to Abyssal Lord is first inferred from a bit in 2e's 'Dead Gods' in which Orcus (during his period as Tenebrous) recalls some flickers and flashes of memories from his past, and one of them is a very brief memory of existing as a mortal at some point eons ago. IIRC (and pardon that I'm going from memory here, don't have books handy) some of the more recent material on Orcus has latched on to this and confirmed that he was indeed once mortal. 'Dead Gods' also has some mention IIRC of Orcus's pre-Abyssal Lord status as a balor (in the section of the module that takes place in the fortress of Tchian-Sumere in the neg energy plane). He's quite the Abyssal success story. :)
Grazzy's origins as a literal child of Pale Night comes first from 2e's 'Faces of Evil: The Fiends'. The entry on Pale Night (written IC by Xanxost the Slaad) states that she is said to be the mother of Graz'zt, Lupercio, and Vucarik, among potentially other Abyssal Lords. FC:I ran with that possibility of Pale Night having birthed Graz'zt and those others, and listed that as a legend (along with the rumors of Pale Night having had a hand in the creation of the tanar'ri race in general; and I can't object to the perpetuation of the notion of Pale Night as a pseudo Shub-Niggurath'esque figure).
And on a total aside, since she got mentioned just now, I've had far far -far- too much fun this past month exploring (or tormenting PCs with) another misbegotten child (or two) of the hollow lady. Fun character.
