I'm running a homebrew adventure that is going to cause the PCs to use things from Heros of Battle, and I was wondering if any Dungeons had an adventure that used this book? (mostly because my FLGS reordered a 3rd copy of it so I got it @ cost)
I can't recall seeing any in the recent past, though my memory on adventures has been shaky. You could try incorporating the Githyanki Invasion from Dungeon #100. That should give you some ideas.
I doubt you will find one (apart from using a single prestige class, spell or feat). If they made an adventure using special rules, they would have to make a side bar explaining the rules to people who do not own the book. I do not know Heroes of Battle, but I think the really fun stuff (biig battles) has quite extensive rules. Although, this is just a good guess, I may be wrong.
While "Heroes of Battle" came out after I wrote "Throne of Iuz"(Dungeon 118), I think it would work well with rules put forward in that book.
Basically it's an adventure where the heroes raid a well-armed orc encampment, and if they do it wrong, they could bring the whole army against them at once.

thank you I will check out both of the abovementioned adventures
We've got a few adventures in the Savage Tide adventure path that use victory points, and a few in Age of Worms used a similar mechanic. It's a really cool way to set up mass battles without having to deal with running a huge miniatures scale war, something that D&D simply doesn't handle well.
At this point, we'd certainly welcome an adventure that uses Victory Points and other elements from Heroes of Battle. Just make sure that the adventure is good too!

What a coincidence, I just submitted an adventure proposal Monday toward this end!
