I read that the last issue will have an index of the magazine's entire run, from #1 all the way to #150. Also, there will be a gatefold cover by Wayne Reynolds.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it contains an Eberron adventure. Maybe I'm just being crazy, but I feel that Eberron (being the "new kid on the block" so to speak) doesn't really deserve that kind of honor. It should have been an FR adventure. But what the hell, at least we get 2 (for all intents and purposes) Greyhawk adventures.

Ah, but what an Eberron adventure! ;-)

I have a question for the Dungeon staff. I'll be moving to another country in 2 weeks(so between the end of june and beginning of july) and I'm afraid I won't be able to get the last issue of my subsciption, which would be # 150. Any suggestions in what should I do?(could I use the subsciption $ for that issue to maybe order something else?)
Thanks
L.G. Mota

Ahh, that's what I like to hear. I actually like Eberron and will be running it for the first time in a few weeks, but found that most of the WotC adventures weren't all that great, or any good infact (apart from Whispers of the Vampire's Blade, and Eyes of the Lich Queen) and so am turning to the Dungeon Eberron adventures to fill the gaps between the two adventures.

Out of curiosity, what Lv PCs is the adventure for?

Why do I get the feeling Logue wrote it. :P

I would say its the mid-level adventure. The low level is supposed to be the "Kill Bargle" adventure. And the Savage Tide is the high level. Also, I think this Eberron adventure has that Sherlock Holmes type character from the previous Dungeon adventure with the train wreck.

Ah, in that case Logue definitely wrote it.

I enjoyed and later ran Fallen Angel.

Of course I can not find the issue, now that I want to talk about it.

I adapted it for a generic setting, and it worked well.

The PCs I ran through it were 5th level.

Maybe someone can tell you which issue it was in, if you are interested in checking it out.

It is indeed the sequel to "Chimes at Midnight" for 8th level PCs (I think, I don't have anything about it in front of me).

"Fallen Angel" does indeed rock too, which is why I suggested it as the perfect adventure to run between the prologue of "Chimes" and its meat.

On the subject of sequels, weren't we supposed to get a sequel to The Obsidian Eye from Dungeon #120?

Now that the license has been revoked, is the sequel not going to come to fruition?

Can't wait for the sequel!

James and Brendan did everything in their considerable powers to ensure it would make it in before the kill-date of Dungeon, but I dragged my feet on the manuscript (cause I didn't know about the end of Dungeon) and now it is complete and completely never going to see print. That's not entirely true...who knows what the future may hold. But yeah, "Lightning Curse" is done, and it's pretty awshum, I gotta say (I'm obviously biased here!), however it shall wallow along with a couple other manuscripts in the pile of "Logue Adventures Time Forgot!!!"

James was awesome though, without spiling the beans (cause he couldn't!), he was like "Getting that Lightning Curse adventure in soon!" every couple o' weeks, and I was like "Yeah, yeah, pretty soon, just fiddling with it. What's the rush anyways? I want it to be perfect..."...so perfect it doesn't get in. Heh. Lesson learned. :-)

Dude. You've let us all down. *shakes head in disapointment*

Heh, just kidding mate.

Actually, 120 is the only issue I've missed in the last 5 or 6 years (I guess a Demogorgon cover really sells at the newsstand!), so I don't really even know what I'm missing out on.

I think the sequal to Chimes at Midnight will be awesome, and I'm glad to see it sneaking into the final issue of Dungeon. But Aberzombie raises an interesting point ... I wonder which of the adventures in this issue were "scheduled", and if any were put in because it's the last issue.

Obviously the ST adventure was scheduled. I wonder about the others? And what, if anything, was bumped?

Nothing was bumped. We knew that this would be the last issue many, many months ago and planned its contents accoringly. We DID have some adventures tentatviely scheduled for issues beyond #150, but they were never "bumped" from earlier issues.

Fair enough. Thanks for the info James. Well, 150 seems like a pretty good line up to me either way.

Ack...you're breaking my heart Logue. Ah well, I can fully understand the pressures of trying to get everything in before the axe falls, and just having too much good stuff to cram into such a short timespan.

Just have to know a few things - did any of the baddies from Obsidian Eye return? Did Harbinger survive to make another appearance? And Anuk - did he ever come back?

Oh noes, I don't want to crush your soul more Eyebite, but since you asked...

Not only was Mio slated to make a reappearance, but also Brendan and I had a third installment in the works too...an epic level one (though nothing was officially greenlit for this, we were just in the putting together an awesome proposal phase). The epic one might have seen Anuk come back...alas!

What the heck? I'll throw it out there -

The word games just got their own section - why not a Logue Section? Snippets of things that never were, almost came about, random musings, etc.

I'm sure Richard Pett would totally agree that this is an excellent idea.

I'm circulating a petition. And a collection basket.

We'll call it something appropriately cheesy - like "Logue's Log."

Or "Dialogue with Logue"

Or even "Loguerrhea - Splatterings from the Edge"

I like "Loguerrhea."

Lord Logue's Vogue Rogue's Gallery of Logue-down dirty adventures. Ugh...sorry...you guys are doing much better. I really like Loguerrea...Spattering from the Edge of the Bowl. Good visceral imagery and if I include all those rejected proposals it's a very fitting name too! :-)

OK--now I feel stupid, because I've been pronouncing 'Logue' with a long 'o'...what is correct?

Also, we could have a

"Logue's Lost Logs" section, and

"The Pett-ing Zoo" for Richard.

You're probably the only one doing it correctly my man! Long O! Cause I'm so long!

Rhymes with Rogue, Vogue. Is that a long O? Yeah, I think it is, right? You are correct sir Mr. Turner!

I'm glad to hear that there will be a complete index. I'll have to use it to pick out my transition back issues. Any chance of a similar index in Dragon #359?

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2011 Top 32)

"I Want To Know What Logue Is, And I Want You To Show Me."

Heh, I've actually been pronouncing Logue correctly then.

As to the sequel to Chimes at Midnight...can't wait for it. At the risk of exploding Nick's beholder-like head, I thought Chimes at Midnight was very well done. Back when it came out my current party was just forming so I hadn't really thought about running it.

But after reading this thread I just realized that in my current campaign I've been setting up a city watch inspector as a recurring NPC without even realizing it. It wouldn't be a stretch to bump him up into megalomania. And while the city my campaign is based in isn't nearly as large or cosmopolitan as Sharn I could probably massage it enough to fit. The level range is almost right on where my party will be during the time I could run it too.

Sweet!

(Pathfinder Lead Developer, Frog God Games)

All the Logue Lovue around here is about to make me barf. And I've got to live with him for four days in a couple weeks.

Here's to hoping there's no episodes of Loguerrhea at Origins (stay away from the chili, Nick!)

You bring up an interesting point, Mothman, because the cover of #150 is the coolest cover of a magazine ever known to man (and I'm including swimsuit issues here--okay maybe not all of them, but a lot of them)! It is so awesome but...I...must...not..reveal...it..sworn to secrecy....AAHHHHHHHHH!

Cooler than the swimsuit issue covers? Are we talking ... tell me it's not true ... Demogorgon - In a swim suit!!! Please lord, say it's true... ;-)

C'mon - "Loguerrhea - Splatterings from the Edge of the Bowl"

It has Class! Panache! A sense of danger! And...it's so perfectly descriptive.

Admit it - if there WAS going to be a Dungeon #151 - Loguerrhea would be all over the place.

A voice echoes up from somewhere below: "Ni-i-ick? N-I-I-I-I-I-ICK?"

Howdy-ho!
I'm Loguerrhea, the Dungeon Poo!
Happy Pathfinder Era to all of you!

Dozens of em mate. I've got a great poop bin on my computer that I peruse through sometimes when I am writing a new adventure...

1. To find that one good idea in the otherwise poopy adventure and see if it works in the new one.

2. To be sure the adventure I'm writing is NOT poopy like the ones in the bin.

3. Poop is a fun word.
