You Cheeshead! Unfortunately, He’s right, and this is how it went down. The campaign chronicle came to an end with a spectacular final battle against Kyuss. The heroes completely cleared the spire of all of its guardians (except Maralee, who was thrown hundreds of feet away from the spire by a Druid Shapechanged into a Titan) and proceeded to meet the Wormgod at the top of the spire. They Windwalked to the top, and as they arrived, the torrent of Worms appeared out of the monolith. Standing amidst them was a projected image of Kyuss in his mortal form. He spoke his words of proclamation, affirming their efforts to be futile and his cause to be just. He woud make everyone on the plane immortal, forever undead. Initiative was rolled, with Kyuss near the top. The heroes performed all the debuffing missions throughout the city, but two rounds against six PCs is just suicide. On his turn, he spent the entire round assuming his true form, a colossal Worm that Walks (will have pics within the week hopefully of the “mini” ((14 inches tall)). A horrific fight ensued, with the players manning the Sphere of Annihilation failing four consecutive attempts to disintegrate Kyuss’s Mace on their ranged touches. Kyuss pulled no punches, as I swapped out many of his spell slots to make him “more deadly”. Mordenkainen’s Dysjunctions, Quickened Greater Dispels, and the omni-present threat from of a ‘20’ on a Vorpal weapon had the party on edge, as well as his limited ability to alter d20 rolls thanks to some “fate spells” from the PHB2. I searched every sourcebook for the nastiest spells and through them at the party. Kyuss himself focused all of his wrath on the User of the Sphere, but unfortunately, doom waited in the Air. As he reached the 200 hp threshold, the Fighter/Bard and future consort of Zulshyn rushed from 200 feet away in Windwalk form to discharge the spell and touch Kyuss with the Hand of Vecna. Kyuss was stunned as the Visage of the Lich Lord momentarily covered the battle, and with that, the party laid into him. While the most damage was done by the formerly mentioned Shapechanged Druid, it was ultimately Warduke who laid the killing blow. When all was said and done, no character had more than a quarter HP remaining, and a few had only 1 as the tower crumbled.

The duel against Zeech was fought, but a display of force from the party’s high Cleric, an authority check and a DC 30 Diplomacy check convinced Zeech to give up his rule. While Zeech wanted self-exile, the priest reinstated him in a manor, understanding that the prince had been duped the whole time.
Warduke did indeed grab the Cowl of Kyuss and used his Word of Recall to disappear to parts unknown. The reprucussion of this can only be imagined, so begins the possibility of an Epic Quest.
I ruled that Lashonna, proceeding the most direct path in gaseous form to her lair (after being destroyed), would travel over the Hallway of the Worm in her dungeon, thus triggering numerous energy drain traps that would heal her. She would have no horde to return to, but would be alive to plague Epic Heroes. Maralee also survived, having disappeared after being flung thousands of feet into an Alhaster building that was subsequently Meteor Swarmed. Her fate is unknown.
Other Epic lead offs include a quest to return Baalphelgor’s Grace to Mephistopheles and rebuilding Alhaster…Overall, I’ve had a blast running it and most say its been a great year of terrifying my players with Kyuss in his minions. I won’t have the chance to run the Savage Tide…I’m playing in it! Can’t wait til we get to Farshore!! ( Horrifying demo-monkeys!!)

The supplement is still available. Go here: http://paizo.com/dungeon/resources/downloads and scroll about halfway down the page. It's right under the Age of Worms Overload.
