I have seen somewhere in 3.5 an official answer to the question about Undead Clerics not Turning themselves, but I can't seem to locate it. I had thought it was in the FAQ, but failed to find it there, in the SRD, Rules Compendium, PHB, DMG, MM, and Libri Mortis. Does anyone know where it might be. My only other thought was Sagely Advice, but I can't look through my Mags right now to show it to someone.
The specific questions is something like "If a Cleric becomes undead, do they Turn/Destroy or Rebuke themselves?" (I know they can Bolster theselves). Anyways, any help would be very appriciated.

Since most of the clerics who are undead are of the evil kind, I'd say the cleric(s) in question become rebukers(or negative energy chanellers for those using beta).

I get that. It doesn't matter though, they are still just as affected. . .
I want to say that the specific question was related to the Clerics of Wee Jas, who can be good, and do not see Undead as automatically evil and in need of destruction.

The point is that if they did affect themselves, it becomes an almost useless ability. Not only are they automatically out of a fight for 10 rounds, but there is a very good chance that they do not affect anyone but themselves with the turn/rebuke.

Oh, I think I see the problem. The question I am asking is "if an Undead Cleric Turns/Rebukes Undead, do they affect themselves"
rather than
"does a Undead Cleric Turn or Rebuke Undead?"

Just go with the Pathfinder tag of "the cleric may leave himself out of the effect." Solves the problem, no game balance issues.

It's not so much that I need a ruling. Someone wanted to see it, and I can't find it. Does anyone know where it might be? I am really thinking it is Sages Advice now.
