James -

Your Demonomicon article was fantastic... I don't want you to take my frustration at WotC failure (thus far) to live up to the Dragon name as a condemnation of your article, which is one of the few things that they've done so far worthy of the Dragon title.

- Ashavan

Hi James.
The hell with 4th edition. With what I saw, I decided that I'll stop buying new wizards products in the future. Once the third edition is over, I'll stop reading their stuff too. I really don't understand why some people feel the need to twist and destroy a background that took 30 years to create. If they want to make something new, why don't they just create a new world? The lack of imagination maybe. It's sad, but that's the way it goes.
That being said, your demonomicon is really awesome. I like your writing style, witch is fun to read and inspiring. And who cares about official stuff, this is roleplaying, we take what we find good don't we? ;)
Anyway, if you made or intend to make any unofficial demonomicon stats in the future, I vote for Obox-ob and Orcus. Two CR 32 demons, mmm!
Anyway, keep on doing great stuff, I think there are a lot of people who appreciate it.
See ya ^^.

Just want to say, I loved the article on Graz'zt, especially all the little gems of information dropped into it, like his 'brothers' and 'sisters', the possible identity of his father, and the info on his realm and cult.

And of course the caligrosto are magnificent. Thanks again for writing it, Mister Jacobs!

Must say that I agree with the others...your treatment of Graz'zt was truly awesome.

Even though you couldn't do one for Dragon, what I personally would love to see is a write up for the Queen of Chaos. I don't think my write up for her could compare with anything you've done, plus it would be cool to see stats on her cult. It would go a long way to fleshing out some stuff for her in my own campaign.

Pale Night would also be a cool write up as well...

Sigh! A person can dream.....

AWESOME!!! I haven't been on here a while since the end of Savage Tide and the beginning of 4e. I love Graz'zt's back story James excellent job! I really wish you could keep on going and publish a whole book of the Demonomicon of iggwilv. I hate what 4e has done to my demons damn them! James who would have been next in the Demonomicon if 4e never came out?

I would have probably continued in this pattern:

Graz'zt
Obox-ob
Pale Night
Yeenoghu
Juiblex
Orcus

Although I might have moved Orcus up in the schedule just to get him out of the way. Of all the demon lords, he'd had the MOST written about him and, as a result, it was Orcus who needed a Demonomicon entry the least, in my opinion.

Good stuff.

Hey James thanx for the reply and i agree orcus is cool and all but he has had his share written down in other literature. My most anticipated entry would have been for "Pale Night", I am sure it would have been very interesting and left us shaking our heads about her even more...right? "Juiblex" on the other hand never did it for me just an evil pile of jello.
