What are the DC's to create these items ? I see that they have a price, and where there from but there is no note of the DC difficulty to make it for characters who are alchemists.

I think the DCs for the PHB items are located in the notes for the Craft skill. Whenever I create new alchemical items I include them in the text myself, not sure how anyone else handles it.

Oh, just realized, you're looking for something in the Dragon Compendium, not the PHB :) Sorry, ignore previous reply...

I'll get you some numbers as soon as I get a chance, which probably won't be too soon. If you don't hear back from me on this matter within a few weeks, bump this thread to remind me.

:)

Bump?

Alchemy DC's never really worried me - until I had a player's new character go hog wild digging up every source of Alchemy she could find. Really could use this info {makes me look like a truly omniscient DM :)}

Another bump ....

I recently cooked up a spreadsheet for my Artificer with all of the Alchemical items from all "official" 3.5e WOTC books and the Dragon compendium, and had to guesstimate on a lot of the creation DCs (point being that WOTC missed providing a lot of creation DCs too - not just the good folks at Paizo).

this might help

There is an index the Alchemy stuff starts on page 30 most have DC's

Best of luck to you, I plan on being "that: guy to my DM, (since I'm not on the other side of teh screen for once)

This is almost a year later but I happened to begin looking through the postings for the Dragon Compendium and found this thread. I want to thank Pholtus for his posting of the Equipment listing. It will make my life as a Second Darkness GM with 9 PC's a lot easier. Thank you where ever you are.

Just my 2 cp.

I looked at that PDF. It still doesn't have the Craft (Alchemy) DCs for the stuff from the Dragon Compendium as far as I can see. It has some of the items (with TBD given for their DCs) but I didn't see all the items from Dragon Compendium either.

If anyone ever comes back to this thread, I still think those DCs would be great. Maybe I'm missing it, was an errata ever published for Dragon Compendium?
