I know he's left Paizo and all that jazz, but wasn't he gonna continue to do some freelance work or something?

Profile

Poor Mike. You see, he accidently uncovered proof that various corporations and the U.S. Government have been in contact with aliens from Alpha Centuari. The AC's have been supplying us with all of our advanced tech, as part of their own plot to eventually enslave the human race.

Anyway, once Mike uncovered this, he was kidnapped and sent out on an interstellar transport to the AC's homeworld. Even now, he fights for his life in an extraterrestrial gladiatorial arena for the amusement of our future alien overlords.

He died.

That's not funny.

His website

Depressingly little there. It looks like he stopped in 2009.

I liked Mike. I hope he's doing well.

Osirion (RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32)

I was friends with him on Facebook and was sure he was still there a few months ago, but I just checked then and it seems he's not even on FB anymore?

I echo threalthom's sentiment. I too liked Mike and hope he's still doing well.

I think I have found his LinkedIn page. Looks pretty current.

Mike was always big on maintaining his privacy, especially with regard to gaming fans. I know he asked us to take down a picture of him from the wiki, and he removed all the biographical information that we'd pieced together from the internet for his article. I'm not sure if he's still even writing for RPGs, but I haven't seen anything new from him since Dragons Revisited, so I'd say no.

With luck, he has made his stealth roll and evaded the stalker. Sounds like a full retreat. I wish him luck.

Stalker?

Paizo Employee (Creative Director)

Mike is pretty much retired from game design/writing, as far as I understand it. And as Mark says, he values his privacy (no stalker involved)—he's pretty much moved on to other projects in life, but is doing well and, despite rumors, is not dead at all.

+1, and +1 to his privacy - totally respect that.

The industry has lost two great icons of late, McArtor and Logue, due to moving on. Darn shame I must say.

I hope they come back.

Thanx everyone in the know. Again, I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Last time I chatted with Mike (which was about 3 months ago), he was doing well. He has been busy with a new job and other RL issues (good issues btw). I will pass on to him that everyone was asking about him next time he and I play some City of Heroes together.

Tell him Alkenstar needs a champion.

Thanks, Sharoth. He not only wrote good stuff for Paizo (from an end user's perspective) but he was active on the boards.

You people (if that's what you REALLY are) don't fool me. I know THE TRUTH!!! Those alien bastards won't get away with this. Even now, I've got friends working on how to get Mike back to Earth.

He was kind enough to answer questions that i had for him a while back. Sounds like he has just moved on is all.

PM me here on the boards if you want his home address and phone number.

~laughter~ Shall I tell him that you said that, Sean?

My PM button is broken. Where's that Teter fellow? I have a new item for his to-do list.

Paizo Employee (PostMonster General)

I thought you PM'd me that item last week.

I have the memo.

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path Subscriber)

He's doing secret work training gnome ninjas.

Doh!

Joshua J. Frost wrote:

Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

Julian Neale wrote:

can't be that secret

I know for a while he was following my LJ, likewise, though I don't recall him posting anything recently.

Shouldn't that be Gnome Gninjas?

What happened to Logue?

I taught him a lesson he won't forget.

Good Mullet. Well done. Now come and let daddy brush you.
