Hey Frost King!

We have heard from a number of retailers that they are having trouble getting these packs in stock. The biggest reason for that is that the distributors were conservative on ordering the booster packs because it was a new format and they were wary. Unfortunately, that means they didn't have enough in stock to meet demand. The good news is that these distributors have started to order larger quantities of the booster packs and hopefully that will solve the problem with your FLGS.

Thanks Vic for the link, and thanks Lisa for the distribution explanation. I wasn't sure if it was a supply issue on Game Mastery or the distributors themselves. I was leary to buy from the website because I didn't want to place an order only to find out that I would have to wait because there were not enough in stock. Glad to know that's not the case.

I'll wait another week or so to see if the retailers and distributors can get their orders in, 'cause I like supporing the FLGS. If not, then I'll order from the website.

Well, if you can let us know who they're buying from, our sales folks can give them a call and make sure they get some stock. (Alternately, you could ask your retailer to let his distributor(s) know we have have plenty, and and ask them to order some for him.)

Just a little update. I spoke with the owner of the FLGS and passed along the info about the availability of the booster packs. He called to let me know that my box of boosters would be in on Friday.

I too am having a similar problem getting Item Pack 2 boosters. My local store (That's Entertainment Worcester/Fitchburg MA) didn't even know they existed and when they tried to order them they were told they were on back order as well. Its been 2 weeks and still waiting. They use Diamond Distributors. They are also having trouble getting Map Packs as well. Oh well, I still have item pack 1 stuff to hand out so its not a total loss yet :) By the way when is item pack 3 due out so I can get my order in early with my local store?

Just to let everyone know....I ordered my Display box of Boosters for Hero's Hoard as soon as they went on sale, and I got them today!
Out of the 12 booster packs, I got 95 out of the 110 cards.
There were some duplicates from the original Item Pack #1, but Item Pack #1 has stuff unique to its' deck.

I really love these cards. I can't wait for the 3rd set to get released. I told the owner of the FLGS to make sure and hound his distributor so I don't have to deal with another delay. I got 98 out of the set #2, but combined with my cards from the first set, I'm only missing about about 4 or 5. Three of them; Bolts (#19), Flail (#23), and Bottle (#96) are really the only ones I was disappointed to have missing from my collection.

Just thought I would update everyone. Its been over a month since I ordered my Item Pack 2 booster box and my local store still has not received them. Thats not really true, they got one pack of boosters from their distributor (Diamond) instead of a box. I, of course, bought it and I was, of course, impressed and pleased, but the distributor problem is really starting to urk me. I hope that my pre-order of Item Pack 3 does not have this problem.
