I would like to suggest that in the product downloads, for the "one file per chapter" version of your products, that the names of the individual files within the zipped folder be clearer. A chapter title would be much more useful than a page range. For example, with the Bestiary, "Pages 54-69" is not a useful indicator of what part of the book I'm dealing with, whereas were the same file called "Dark Stalker - Demon, Vrock" I'd know right away whether or not it was what I was looking for.

For another example, compare the page only file names for the chapters in "Book of the Damned, Vol. 1: Princes of Darkness" to the file names on the various volumes of the Pathfinder Adventure Paths. The latter is far more useful than the former.

Generally I prefer the chapter by chapter downloads for the more manageable file size, but often times I end up downloading and then realizing what a hassle it would be to use (Bestiary again being a great example) and then wasting time (and bandwidth) downloading the product again as a single file.

Thanks for reading.

I tend to organize different products in different ways, sometimes organizing them alphabetically, thematically, and even by page number depending on how I see myself using the files. I find that it's easiest just to rename each file to how I prefer it, and would most likely end up renaming something no matter what the default naming scheme was.

After a couple of updated PDF versions from various companies I started making shortcuts to the individual files with the title I wanted for each section. That way I can just unzip an updated file or files and overwrite the old version, while still being able to find what I want easily via the shortcut.

I can also save space on my boot drive by just keeping the shortcuts sorted into subdirectories in My Documents and the start menu instead of the whole file. I also set up multiple shortcuts - it's handy being able to list all of the contents of a given issue together, while at the same time I've got separate collections of each AP issue's bestiary all together, the same with the Pathfinder's Journal, and so on, without needing multiple copies of the actual file, just extra shortcuts that take up 2k space at most.

I was renaming the files at first, but it seemed like when I did so it caused the links to stop working, which in the case of the core rulebook, bestiary, or campaign setting, was a pretty big handicap.

*nods* The external linking between files was one of my considerations too. Some of the page numbering in the file names of the core rulebook were inaccurate, but they're unfixable without breaking the links in the files.
