Back in the day, the Pazio blog used to be a source of beautiful art that I could use as wallpaper on my computer. But no more! Nowadays, we only get small images that aren't suitable for use as wallpaper. Is this a deliberate policy change, or might I one day be able to see Steve Prescott's stunning cover art for "Mother of Flies" gracing my screen in all its glory?

Paizo's art got ripped off in some 3pp PDF recently, so I guess it's a deliberate decision.
WTB official wallpapers, tho ;)

Really? That's just all kinds of stupid right there. Downloadable on the internet doesn't mean free to use, anyone trying to run a business should know that (if they want to stay in business and avoid lawsuits).

Oh, White Wolf did rip off the cover art from Devil May Cry console game at one point, so I guess it's more a case of "trust your artists".

I remember seeing a thread about this where someone was claiming blog posts as OGL or something... anyhow, yes its a shame. I too used to keep PAIZO art as my desktop art, but no more. Sad, but I understand this decision. Though, it would be a nice feature to have desktop art available in mydownloads. I would certainly use it, and would even be fine if the PAIZO logo was on it too! Its PAIZO I'm proud of, and their art, in this case.

You can still do that with the pictures form the PDF books. If you find the book illegally, you won't even have to pay for the PDF.
Unless we're talking someone who claimed it was all legal.

It's not a deliberate decision—just a miscommunication. We'll go back to making large versions available.

Speaking of which, today's offering has been up-sized to desktop width.

More quality artwork accessible under the community use license always makes me happy.
So, anyone have a guess as to what spell is being cast in the picture from the latest blog post?

[sarcasm] it's obviously magnetism, Don't you see those coins and that pendant coming out of the pile to the creatures breatplate... pretty soon all of the treasure in the room will be attracted to it, and the creature will be weighed down by encumbrance rules[/sarcasm]
