You've asked for T-shirts, and we're going to give them to you! Each month, we'll run a few designs for new T-shirts past you and ask you to make a pledge to buy any that you like. Once we have enough pledges, we'll print the shirts, send you an email with a link to the product, and ask you to purchase the T-shirt that you pledged to buy. This is totally on the honor system, but we trust you to honor your word. If any T-shirt doesn't get enough pledges, we will discard that design. Hopefully, this will give you the T-shirts that you want and allow us to try new things without taking the financial risk that printing the T-shirts would present. So go ahead and pledge away!
Update! Two of the T-shirts are now available for preorder, with delivery expected in July.
We've received enough pledges for all three designs, so all three shirts are now available for preorder!
We'll collect preorders for a little while so that we can get estimates of the popularity of each size, and then we'll have them printed for you, so it will be a few weeks before they're available.
Update from 6/9/08:
Sadly, less than 30% of the people who pledged their support for the Valeros T-shirt actually placed an order for it; that's not enough to break even on the cost, so we have canceled it.
The Golem and Goblins T-shirts, which will each be limited to a single print run, will be available in July.
D'oh! That's what I get for using my own little pea-brain. This poll is supposed to be just about the designs, not the sizes. Updating the poll now -- you'll want to re-vote when the poll updates.
I like the blue one, the red one and the green one.
WTF, quit it with the black already! White shows off Cheesie-puff dust too well!
I want some friggin' colors!!!! I'd buy 1 of each in large if you offered other colors!!!
[nitpick] I'm disappointed that the final line of the goblin song on the t-shirt was changed to "we the goblins - you the food!"
I much prefer "we be goblins - you be food!" [/nitpick]
As far as confirming size and the like, this is more to get a feeling for things. Also, make sure you "vote" if you are "pledging". it will record all data needed for us to send the e-mails once we get it all in.

I'm in agreement with a few others that different colors would attract me to a purchase (browns, reds, blues). I like white and would love the Golem. As another poster stated though, the Golem seems a bit too big for the shirt. Maybe the Golem on a smaller scale in the front or a large Golem covering the back.
I really like the Goblins and the Goblin song, but I don't think I could wear the shirt with the song on it. People around my area still think RPG's are for satanists. The Goblins by themselves though, might sell me.
Now I really like the Iconic idea, but I would need a color other than black.
I really like the huge golem icon and I totally understand that that particular design wouldn't look very good in any other colors. The other shirts are cool too, though, and I think maybe if you offered other dark colors it would be good. Maybe Navy Blue, Burgundy, and Hunter Green?

Any details about how they are going to be printed and what the shirts will be made of?
For a small extra charge (to be determined) you can make it a Hide Shirt. Much longer lasting than a 100% cotton version.

I put in for the goblin one(just because the PF goblins are pretty awesome) and the valeros one. I too side with the person above mentioning whether you are going to do all the iconics this way, it would be neat to go for the set.

I voted for the Goblins. But as stated above:
[nitpick] I'm disappointed that the final line of the goblin song on the t-shirt was changed to "we the goblins - you the food!"
I much prefer "we be goblins - you be food!" [/nitpick]
Are these images going to be on the front or the back of the shirt? I'd need to know that before I bought or pledged to buy anything.
I like the goblin t-shirt best, but as I've recently ordered the existing back and white one, I'm unlikely to buy another one, so I guess I'll be waiting for the next round of designs =)
How about a more simple shirt with the Pathfinder or Paizo logo only (centered or to the side)? I'd really like a Paizo shirt, but honestly wouldn't buy one of these.
While I voted for both the fighter and goblins shirt, I want to second (or third?) the request above for varying colors of shirts. I don't so much mind the goblins on black, but it would be cool to have a whole series of the iconics, each on a different colored shirt. Nothing from the elementary school color wheel, but toned-down variations on them would be awesome (no bright yellow, red, green, blue but rather marigold or rust, burgundy, hunter green, cyan, etc.)
I like the Paizo shirt, because it is uncluttered. The goblin shirt should really be just the Reynolds goblins and Pathfinder logo on front and unchanged 'we be' song on the back. As is, the design is too cluttered. The Valeros shirt has the same issue. It has the stats mashed up against the image. Two of the stats are obscured. If you really want to use the character sheet, use the whole thing, bio and all, and have the graphic offset in the same way it is in the second volume of pathfinder. I think this shirt would also benefit from having Valeros on the frone, with the PF logo, and his character sheet on the back. I know that this ups the printing costs, but what you have is crowded and awkward. I am going to see what comes out of the second wave of shirts, and hope there is one.
If you want to solicit our opinions and desires for a shirt like this, how about having us vote on different permutations for each shirt, and offer a few colours. Check out www.threadless.com for a parallel.
These are all cool, but I have to be honest; I'm used to $5 patriotic t-shirts from Kohl's, and $8 plain ones from Eddie Bauer. None of these designs are enough to make me want to dump $25 on. If they were closer to $15, then I'd probably snag one. Then again, I'm probably not the target market for this particular product. If I'm going to give Paizo $25 (which is not something I at all mind doing, mind you!) I'd rather have one of their books that I don't already have. :)
That said, if you want to sell me clothing, a black, fade-resistant polo with a small Paizo logo on the left breast would probably work on me...
To go with the trends these days and to make for a more lasting shirt, I'd say the design for the golem is the best bet, the other graphics (the gobs and the fighter) will fade too easily and the richness of color always feels heavy on the chest.
I'd say more abstract (e.g. the golem)or black & white graphics are the way to go.
Also, It'd be nice if the golem was situated more laterally to wrap around the sides. OR OR OR make it smaller and be exclusively a side print.
Things like this can make for excellent AND classy t-shirts, that your non-DnD playing significant others will actually think look good on you.
Also, if I come off as elitist it's only because I'm in graduate school for design (albeit architecture, but design is design)
Just some things to consider from your friendly design consultant, and maybe I can photoshop up some examples, if I get a moment.
Also, I love the goblin song, but I think it's too much writing for a t-shirt. Kind of like those church group t-shirts, with motivational messages on them. And who wants to be compared with that?

I also think that the song on the goblins T-shirt should stay "We be goblins! You be food!"
Goblins on Shoulder in Powder white on Black T-shirt - but Goblin Warsong too small then. Same again on Huge 1mx2m Black Bathtowel But with Goblin Song...in such a way as you can use towel as black flag with Goblins on it.
I would love to buy a shirt from you guys, but to tell you the truth, these designs don't impress me too much.
Too much text on the Goblins and Fighter shirt.
I like the Paizo golem, but I don't like the white background.
I would love a shirt with that picture of the goblins on it, and then just "We be goblins - you be food" printed on it somewhere. I wouldn't buy any of these though, unfortunately.
I love all three! The Fighter shirt is a little cluttered, though.
Let's see... decisions, decisions...
I definately have to go for Goblins! The Paizo goblin redesign is already legendary and I want to show my support! I also have to agree with the one complaint that's floating around: the last line should stay "we be goblins - you be food!"
