I'm sure this has already been thought of, but on the off chance it hasn't, I figured I'd mention it. Is it possible to get something kind of Pathfinder Society Finder? Like maybe a google map that shows where other Pathfinder society members are at. I mean I might be in the middle of Pathfinder Society Central (right in southern NJ, yea, sure) and I wouldn't know it. Something that let me see where others like me are at would be a great boon.
just a thought, thanks for listening

Doesn't matter how its done as long as its official. As the guy that ran the Exalted Frappr map for about a year, I can definitely say it will go MUCH MUCH further, if it had the official seal of approval of the Paizo team.

That would be a good idea, I live in England, miles away from my nearest game store. So my chances of playing Society adventures are limited to my normal group.
A list of stores running PFS events or players in the area would be great.

Ooh! I'm in UK too (Peterborough to be precise!) This idea certainly would be a boon, especially now with the pathfinder society group (I assume thats why you mentioned it right?.
It wouldnt neccesarilly have to be official though would it? I mean if its just a google or Yahoo page identifying locations of players then I dont see why it should? Sure, if we can get official backing that may improve the general outlook of the map.

I think that what they're saying is that if it is on the official site, it will get participation with more people, where as on third party things, people are sometimes scared to give their address.

Its Paizo's society. They should have first crack at doing some kind of official locator. Failing that, I'm sure a fan will create something. If it comes from Paizo, it will get more traffic (which translates into more people being able to find fellow gamers). If Paizo has no plans on creating one on their own, I hope they give their seal of approval to said fan created map (so to give it more traffic). Going completely fan created with no official nod, will get the least traffic.

From the PFS chat that I held at the beginning of August, something like this is definitely in the works.

Yes it is! Gary has a few other Pathfinder Society things to do first, though.
