Monster Manual: Lords of Madness product description reads like Wizards of the Coast is moving back to toward fully randomized sets. Set count is back up to 60 and the figure count went up from 5 to 6. Description doesn't say there's a visible mini either.
So, is this just temporary text or are they really going back to random and 60 pieces for this set?
I personally have loved the visible minis but I can see how they could make less money that way.

Yep, apparently they're going back to the older release model. The visible packs weren't selling well enough, nor were the Player Character packs.
I believe this is the only mini set they're releasing this year.

Gone is the 3 sets a year format, it looks like they'll do 1 every 6 months or so.
Like many WotC [Hasbro] products... if it ain't broke...
Only the hydra looks interesting, all the other creatures are 4E themed so they would be useless for me. Not going to do the random thing just to get one mini -pass.
