Ooohhhhhh!!! COOL!!! Me wants!

Nice! So we'll finally see the official player stats for the orc I'm assuming? Since the Bestiary version is suppose to be monsters mainly.

Absolutely!

Silver Crusade (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

Savage Species Companions, well played Paizo.

Of course... the version in the Bestiary is very likely going to be the same as the player version. What this book'll do is give additional options for orc AND half-orc PCs, though.

Me want book all about goblins!

This is cool, but I must say i am a bit surprised to see this before a halfling book.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Meh! Adventurers never worried about attacking dungeons filled hordes of bloodthirsty halflings.

Depends on the games you have played in. :)

Maybe they can make that a part of a new adventure path.....:)

Aberzombie wrote:

Go look at the Book of Vile Darkness. Those Jerran halflings were evil little cannibalistic b*st*rds!

And more on topic, I really like this. I never wanted to play/use half-orcs before seeing Pathfinder's version.

Hmm, maybe we can hope for a 'Gnolls of Golarion' in the future?

Which brings to the question ... when are we going to see it? My first PC playing with PF rules AND in Golarion just happens to be one.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber)

Brutally awesome!

Glad we're beating halflings to the press... as Gorum forbid we've suffered Gnomes getting there before us ;)

(RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32, 2010 Top 8)

Interesting, I can't wait to see this,

Well I'll have to...

Osirion (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

I'm wondering, will the Orc race be a playable race for the Pathfinder Society once the book is released?

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path Subscriber)

Orcs before halfings? Shafted again!

*I am pumped about this book though, just so we're clear*

Tarrintino wrote:

Not likely, no, but anything's possible.

FYI, ask these types of questions in the PFS forum and I'll be more likely to see them. ;-)

Hey, that's all I wanted to know! Now I only need some extra GPs to afford it...*scampers off to rob a Taldorian dandy*

I've updated the product description. I'd love to show you the finished cover as well, 'cause it's about a bazillion times better than the mockup... but it contains spoilers for some announcements we'll be making in a couple of weeks, so you'll have to live with the mockup cover for a while longer yet.

Would that make it a STEAK Attack ?

Hmm... Orc leaping in to give a blue dragon/behir a big, lovvy hug... *gasp* You've decided to make the orcs the Pathfinder carebears!!!

An orc paladin bravely defending innocent orc children from a menacing blue dragon.

I'm calling it, right there.

Osirion (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Given that the race books feature a fight vs. their traditional enemy, I'm going to say it's a warband overrunning some humans in Lastwall.

Cheliax (Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber)

Looks to me like an orc fighter-type (barbarian?) charge-jumping a draconic enemy, possibly a killing blow after it's already been weakened and thrown to the ground by the combined efforts of the warband.

What we know for certain:

Something large and reptilian is going to be hurting on the cover.

The cover will be graced by a lovely, charming lady of orcish virtue inflicting much of that hurting.

DEM GAMS.

Andoran (Paizo Charter Superscriber, Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber)

This might be the craziest guess of the bunch, but how about this- There's an eighth, hitherto unannounced base class, developed in secrecy, in the APG- the blackguard. The cover of Orcs of Golarion sports a blackguard, which would explain a character in well-crafted black armor that can't be shown in full yet. The timing would be ideal, as Orcs is expected to ship at the same time as the APG.

NICE.

I really like that the artist kept with the race-example vs hostile creatures rather than orcs torching people and swording houses. Leaves room for heroic interpretation. :)

Where be the scro?

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

I can't exactly say why but the mention of "witch-doctor" brought me back to "The Orcs of Thar" Gazetteer, the first D&D book I bought myself and an old reference in Dragon way back when.

I'll just have to dig it back up and check them both!

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Campaign Setting, Companion Subscriber)

sorry, I haven't read through everything. Did they mention if there would be a feat or trait that would remove the Orc's light sensitivity?

Nice orc book. Gosh I love orc books. Already got a great many. Always ready for a great many +1.
