So, if I buy one of these, and end up not going, is there a refund system, or can I give it away?
I ask because my work schedule hinges on the Weekends (I am a nightclub bartender), and I may not be able to go, which becomes clear closer to June.
I would hate to suck up a limited spot that someone else could have enjoyed, but i (If I get to go to Paizocon) really want to make this.

Last year people were able to transfer the name on a badge/banquet ticket to someone else. Whether that person pays you for it or you give it away is up to you.
Fixing it so people could transfer badges and banquet tickets was one of the ducks we had to get into a row. So yes, you can transfer your badge to someone else. (And if you can't, let us know because you should be able to.)

Now, in my eTickets is a ticket for the Con,but not for the banquet, is that right? Is the banquet ticket somehow rolled into the general weekend pass instead of being separate?

The Banquet ticket is a seperate ticket. You need the ticket for the Con first, then you can buy the ticket to the banquet.

The Banquest ticket is a seperate ticket. You need the ticket for the Con first, then you can buy the ticket to the banquet.
Yes, I bought both but only see one...
Guess it's time to visit Customer Service.

Look under your list of past orders. It is there. I have the same issue, but it shows up as bought.

Thus my question; Should it be a separate eTicket or not?

I do not know. ~shrugs~ Just do what I do when there is a question as to if there is a problem. Blame Cosmo. ~grins~
If / when you get an answer, please post it here so we can all see what the response is.

I'll blame Cosmo after I get my answer. ;-)

~wicked smile~ I am just hoping that Sebastian can join us for the Con. ~looks around for Sebastian~ Oh baby! Are you going to join us?

Whoops! Should be fixed now. You should see two tickets: your three-day badge, and your banquet ticket.

Hmm... considering the banquet. What events might we miss if we're at the banquet?
If it follows the same schedule as last year, the banquet is the only event during that time slot. You won't miss a thing.
This year, however, more than just 25 ticket holders will be excluded from the banquet. Since the total attendance of the Con has increased but the size of the banquet has not, there may be events this year to give those not rubbing elbows with the Paizo staff, special guests, and their fellow fans something to do. I doubt anything in that slot will be as awesome as the banquet, though, since that was easily the best part of the whole convention last year. I'd suggest making the banquet your number one priority, Kyle. It was a real blast.

Color me psyched! Can't wait or the con, missed it this year, not going to make the same mistake next year.

Yup - I'm buying a ticket to this as well...wasn't sure if I wanted to spent the money geting there (the ticket prices are very reasonable) - but I got back into RPGs bigtime becuase of Pathfinder - seems silly to miss it. Looking forward to it.

convinced my wife to join. (so 2 tickets now.) please be gentle with her :-)
There are now fewer than 60 seats left at the banquet.
I've just sent an announcement of our guests of honor to everybody who has a PaizoCon 2010 badge at the moment, and it contains a reminder to grab a banquet ticket if you haven't already.
We'll soon be sending out a press release announcing our guests to the gaming public at large.
In short, if you're thinking about buying a banquet ticket, don't think too much longer, or they may be gone.
My status has changed from absolutely being able to make Paizocon to not sure enough to hold onto banquet tickets when they are people wanting to go and are definitely going to be there.
I am going to hold onto my paizocon ticket, but you can have the banquet ticket hugo. Just let me know how to transfer it. Cant find an email for you, otherwise I would contact you there.
The day after Comicpalooza, we're talking about going to this thing, and of course it's sold out. If anyone ends up being unable to go, I'm looking for 3 tickets. Email me at
