Are these available by the case? And are they like other randomized minis in that buying a case would guarantee a complete set or at least no repeats?

My Mythos Buddies...my Mythos Buddies...

I bought three of these about five minutes after Jeff opened the box from the manufacturer. There is a high possibility my girlfriend will become infatuated with them, in which case I will surely be in for more.

They are adorable. I buy lots of blind-packaged vinyl toys at Asian supermarkets and collectibles stores, and I frequently end up getting a fairly lame figure. I'm not sure that's really possible with this set, because almost all of them are at the very least good for a laugh or two on game night, and some of them are absolutely cool.

I ended up getting Angrythulhu and Meanthulhu. The third box remains unopened until the next time I see Danica. I'm really happy with the two I got.

For now we only have 80 of these things (ok, 77), and I think these have the potential to be absolutely huge.

I strongly recommend purchasing swiftly, as these types of things often sell out really fast.

Just from looking at my two and admiring them I have a feeling our supplies will not last long.

Bravo. I recently picked up buddy cthulhu at a chibi store(randomly) and I totally love these(and my girlfriend does, too!)

They could be available by the case, if specially arranged, but there's no guarantee that you'd get the set that way. The rarity is set off of 50 figs and the case is 20. I think your best bet is to trade them amongst yourselves on the boards if you're really shooting for obtaining a full set.

Jeff didn't answer the repeat part, so I will... you will definitely get repeats in a full case. The common ones will be repeated the most, the uncommon ones less, and so on.

Thanks, guys. I guess it's a different game than it is with boxes of multiple minis where each one has a rare, several uncommons, etc. I'll just have to sick my ethereal filchers on the rares and ultra rares I can't get my tentacles on.

Ok, that's two to start. I wonder how many of these are going to demand my obedience.

Ok, mine arrived and they are too cool. I got Buddy Cthulhu and Ghost 'Thulhu and they've taken up positions with they're big Angry brother on a shelf behind my desk, glaring over my shoulder. :)

Taldor (Pathfinder Superscriber)

I got ninjathulhu and ghosthulu, most excellent.

I just got my lot, and lady luck seems to be on my side today. I got Matrixthulhu, Little My Little Cthulhu, Flowerthulhu, Goththulhu, Buddythulhu and Angrythulhu. And I also got the secret figure!

Anyone who doesn't know what it is, stop reading now...

Any idea when these might be restocked?

We've tried to get more, but they're apparently now out of print.

Wow, looks like a bit of an underestimation of their appeal on the part of the manufacturers, then. Shame.

Glad I got the one I did, then. Coolthulhu will have to be enough.
