Is there a release date for this one yet?

Unfortunately there's no mention of a date on the Chaosium website nor our distributor's database. But, like all products on paizo.com, if you put in an order for it, we'll ship it out as soon as it's available.

I hope this thing sees the light of day. I remember them talking about it right after D20 Call of Cthulhu came out and that it was going to be duel stats for both. They've since dropped that (which is fine by me).
Hope they release it soon.

I wrote the adventure for this, and I *really* *REALLY* hope it sees the light of day.

No idea if it ever will. It's been a few years now.

Now I want this more than ever.

Damn you Wolfgang!

You wrote this, Wolf? Nice!

The book had at least three authors last time I checked. One person did the pulp COC variant rules, one did the background, and I did an adventure for it.

I can't remember whether there was a second adventure planned or not. But I've been waiting about 4 or 5 years for it to ship, so it's turning into a sort of Temple of Elemental Evil for Cthulhu. Someday...

Here's hoping this doesn't become the RPG equivalent of Duke Nukem Forever. I heard tell from someone reputable that the manuscript is indeed finished. But that's all I can say on this.

The chaosium web site said that this has been pushed back to 2010 due to a medical condition.

Reminds me of when I first heard that Chaosium was doing an adventure based on "Mountains of Madness." That was back in like 1990, and it took about a decade or so before that book finally came out. But when it did... turns out it was one of the best RPG adventures/sourcebooks ever produced for any system.

Here's hoping that Pulp Cthulhu's long development cycle repeats that, and doesn't just fade into obscurity... (crosses fingers)

I wouldn't hold my breath. I love Chaosium, and they do great work, but I take any "upcoming" work from them with a grain of salt...ok, more like a whole silo.
