I listened to 3.5 Private Sanctuary's monthly segment called Know Direction that is dedicated to Pathfinder RPG news and reviews. They interviewed the Owner/Creator of 4WindsFantasy and talked about his new products. I was intrigued and purchased the Pathfinder RPG Condition Summary PDf. Nice product and easy to use.

During the podcast the host interviewed Robert Thomson and he mentioned that there would be Pathfinder RPG versions of "Monster Knowledge Cards".

I would like to know when those will be out?

Thanx,

Kizan

The obvious problem you have is keeping the cards up to date.

If the cards were all Pathfinder monsters and they included all the new monsters released in each of the Adventure Paths, I would be interested.

We plan to release our Pathfinder Edition Monster Knowledge Cards as soon as the Pathfinder Bestiary is officially released. I haven't seen an official release date yet for the Bestiary (I saw Vic post in the Bestiary discussion thread that they were tentatively looking at November 4) - if a date's been made official I've missed it!

The Monster Knowledge Cards will be available in our store here on Paizo and we'll bang the drum on the forums once they're up and ready! Our cards will include all the creatures in the Bestiary and Bonus Bestiary.

We appreciate your interest!

Our cards will only include the monsters that are in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary and the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bonus Bestiary. Basically, if we know it will be Open Content, we'll do a monster card for it. If it is not Open Content, it isn't that we simply won't do a monster card for it, but we cannot do a monster card for it.

Ohh that is neat. I can't wait till I see the Pathfinder beasts done up. Hope they come out soon!

Awesome!

Aren't all the AP monsters open content (statblocks that is, and except the closed content Coeurl and Deep Crow) ? Of course you could not use the Golarion fluff, but would that be workable at any rate ?

I believe that some of them are, but honestly I'm not sure. I've never really looked at them. We're concentrating on the Bestiary creatures.

Can't wait. Just got my hands on my Bestiary and I'm looking forward to using those cards.

Thanx,

Kizan
