As a placeholder for those of us dying for the past AP's, what about some generic Varisian packs.

To hold you over in the meantime, you may want to check out my art thread over in the Curse of the Crimson Throne forums. I've been working on CotCT minis for my home game, and posting them there (absolutely free). In addition to my player characters (and their cat and pseudodragon), there's an entire Urgathoan cult, general thugs, Grey Maidens, Red Mantis, and a host of villainous-looking NPCs.

N'wah,

I'd just like to say that I think the minis are awesome, but if I had known there would be so many sets I would have spoken up on behalf of a lower price-point. The PDFLove deal ends very soon, but I think that the 35% off price was actually closer to what you should be charging if you want people to buy these products on impulse.

$4-5 is what I might like to pay for a whole AP Chapter's worth of minis, especially considering I take the burden of physical materials with my wallet also. If we're looking at four to five different sets to cover a single AP chapter, I should say that payments of 1-2 dollars are probably in order. Of course, that's just me, and you should let your own sales dictate the price you're going to charge.

I'm going to have to echo this. The sets so far do seem pretty neat, but I wouldn't mind a slightly lower price point. Especially after the current sale ends. I'm 3 for 3 right now, but I'm not sure that will last.

I hear you guys. When I was first starting this up, I was aiming for a price that would hopefully be pretty easy for folks to pay, yet still earn enough profit to let me get out of the day job. I'll have to run some numbers before I ask Vic to lower the price (and I'll have to find out how hard it is for Vic to lower the price; probably not too hard, but any time I take him away from doing everything else he's doing makes me feel like I'm pestering him).

Also, while there will be a glut of minis sets right now as I try to catch up with the AP adventures, things will slow down a bit as I A: get into a more regular miniatures production schedule, and B: go back to the day job (I've been off work with a busted up leg, and I'm heading back to work on the 5th or the 6th). So most likely it'll be three sets a month starting in June, instead of the flood of packs that's happening right now. The other artists and I can only draw so many minis packs at a time, after all. :P

Wow! I didn't expect such a quick response.

And thanks for the link to Immora's great CotCT art. I will scoop some of those for sure. Although they're already available free, I would hazard a guess that a re-packaged, coloured, based set of those would still sell.

I think there might be a market as well. Think I'll finally e-mail Immora about this.

Fair enough. If the numbers don't work out for a price decrease, I can understand that. You have to make enough money off of these for it to be worth your time, after all.

As it currently stands, price decrease is off the books, but I'm thinking instead of an increase in number of minis. I hope that's a fair compromise. :D

But in this case, you're right. More minis = hawt!

If it makes you feel any better, you're aiding another female gamer. If sales keep up, I'll actually be able to BUY a few Paizo products myself.

Sorry, Immora, but I thought you knew I was a cruel taskmaster.

And GamerGrrl, I hope you like 'em. A lot of blood, sweat and ink went into crafting all those lovely monstrosities. :D

I am perfectly happy to keep with he current price, especially for products like the caravan and the gnolls, but the NPC set did feel a little more sparse. Still good mind you but it wouldn't have hurt to have the bugbears, smugglers and gnoll barkeeper as well.

The ethos i personally hope will creep in is that when you buy the NPC pack you'll get everything you need to play...other than new things from the beasties.

Obviously, legecy of fire threw a little bit of a curve ball in that their are the caravan members as well as the antagonists.

Yeah, the NPC pack was hard to plan; the hope is to eventually have enough of the random monster sets to cover some of the unnamed monster guys. There... might... be more dudes when I re-work the NPC pack, since I goofed on the layout and I feel kinda silly about that. No promises. But it is in the "might" stage.

"House of the Beast" is turning out interesting, though, because I'm running low on actual named villains, so you guys may be getting your first taste of Huge and Gargantuan minis early (previously it was looking like they'd first appear in the "Jackal's Price" Bestiary set). Keep your eyes peeled for them!

Will we be seeing paper mini's for most of the monsters from Monster Manual? I hope it's not just the pathfinder AP monsters.

I think N'wah has some plan in mind although I don't think any actual work has started and it won't until the new book comes out since the Paizo art may differ from the original 3.5 sources.

Awesome minis! Any chance we could get a blank template?

Thanks!
And regarding the blank template: do you mean extra bases or something? 'Cuz I can do that. Or do you mean more like a blank mini-sized box or something?
