Come to me my little hardcopy minion bwahahaahahahaahah.
Vic, Lisa, Wolfgang, I'm concerned if I wait for the dead tree, I might lose the dead tree Gazetter. Want to make a big Jan purchase all at once ya'know, for shipping and the like.

Not sure what the story is with the preorder/PDF. Maybe Vic can help with that.
Actually, might fix the title, which is actually even longer. It's "Kobold Guide to Game Design, Volume 2: How to Pitch, Playtest, and Publish". I was trying to establish whether Paizo has a character limit for titles....
The print edition of this is due to arrive at Paizo Tuesday, so if you preorder, you won't be waiting long.
I'd asked about Volume One at GenCon this year, but you were all out of hardcopies. And now that I'm about to pick up Volume Two in PDF, it should be that much easier to just grab them both at the same time.

D'oh! I created the print product in our system by copying the entry for the PDF, and I forgot to change the product type. (You don't actually get the PDF—it's just a display thing... I'm pretty sure.)
I'm out of the office, but I've asked Gary to fix it.
As for the title, if we have a limit, you'd have to work really hard to hit it. However, in this case, I'm pretty sure you just called it "KOBOLD Guide to Game Design—Volume 2," and I snagged the "How to Playtest and Publish" from the cover image.

Ah, my own fault for using the mockup cover rather than the final. Well, I think people have a pretty good idea
And I'll just work harder on the subtitle length next time. I'm a fan of 18th century style subtitles: "Being a cogent description of the ludic arts in several parts, to wit and in descending importance..."
I cannot wait to get my grubby little paws on it. I am still waiting for my dead tree copy of volume one to complete its journey across the pond to me. :(
After viewing a friend's copy of the first book (which I am now going to order), all I can say is, "Oh boy, I can hardly wait to get my grubby mitts on this!"

After ordering (and reading, of course) the first book, I'm also eagerly waiting for this one!
Wolfgang, you need to get your kobolds working harder! ;)

I have two co-authors in mind for Volume 3. If even one of them says Yes, I think the next one might be something truly amazing.
Just wanted to let you know that a limited number of print edition copies of this book are now in the warehouse! Wolf stopped by during his lunch break to drop them off. Enjoy!
