This is a great product I think they will be releaseing a 1 inch piece soon but really how many things are 5 feet off the ground?
Maybe not 5', but 15' and 25' are used many times in my game.

Oops. I didn't see most of this thread before I posted - just the few immediately at the top under the product description.

Precisely my issue - I have very exacting players and we would need the "in between" measurements in almost every combat where we'd use these. I'm sure we can figure out something as a stopgap until there are 1" cubes available, but without some reasonable assurance that 1" spacers are in the foreseeable future, I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this product.

Fear not!
We are working with our manufacturers and hope to have a 5' increment soon. The delays are the cost, we need to order a whole slew of them and that cost is actually kind of surprising. As we will soon be taking the Combat Tier to various conventions this year, we are hoping sales will allow us to get the 5' spacer soon enough.
I will continue to update our progress as I learn what is going on - in the mean time buy and try!

Magnificent! And I love that there are painted pieces in the mix, no more dings and chips from them falling off of things. Thank you for sharing and I am glad that they appear to have become an intricate part of your aerial combat - it was what I envisioned during their initial craft conception.
I recently received 2 Family Packs and they are great. I forwarded some Pics to Combat Tier but I don't know how to post pics myself for anyone to see. The pictures speak for themselves. Overall they are a lot of fun to use. They were stable and easy to maneuver. I had a Githanki Warship with Red Dragon Riders in combat with the adventurers on a planer traveling tower. Everything and everyone were flying with the tiers. If there is a way to post pics here, let me know.
Here is a Combat Tier slideshow from photobucket.com Thanks for the advice DM Jeff. I don't know how to make this a link but it should be able to be cut & pasted. I hope they come out ok and that everyone enjoys.

Troy, what an awesome use of the product! Thank you for sharing your photos, we here at Tinkered Tactics is overjoyed at your creative and imaginative use of the Combat Tier.
We have not yet learned the fate about the five foot extension, but continue to be hopeful. I am anticipating it will not be too long before we have a positive response from our manufacturer. We plan to expand our exposure this year to more gaming forums, but remain so grateful to the response we have received from the Paizo community. Thank you all very much.
If anyone is in Southern California, you may visit us at our new comic and game store in Burbank. Come in and sit a spell, we'd love to meet you!

Nice store, by the way. I dropped by for the first time Tuesday night, and I can't recommend it highly enough. A really great store - open and airy with lots of high quality stock and a friendly staff. If you are in the LA area, you really should check them out.

Thanks for the high praise FilmGuy! Next time you come in, coffee is on me. Did you take advantage of our WATCHMEN signing last Saturday? Tyler Bates the composer for the soundtrack got a lot of praise for his work and we still have a few of his signed CD's in stock.

Tried to add a review of these a couple of weeks ago, but I somehow failed to meet the servers expectations!
I ordered the combat tiers on a whim, (and given the cost of shipping, the family pack was an easy choice).
When they arrived I thought they were wonderfully made. Our whole group thought they were awesome. I think they inspired our barbarian to leap onto the back of a passing dire bat!
We're not a truly technical group, so no need for 5' increments for us.
Thanks for making an awesome product, taking the time to chat about it here, and not being afraid to charge what it's worth.
At the risk of being divisive, fifty bucks is the cost of just one of the many 4E books I'm saving money by not buying!

Thank you, Smell of Orange Blossoms for the high praise and we at Tinkered Tactics use our product whenever we play (twice a month, same group for over 20 years!). Of course they now all just have their own and just pull them out at whatever height their PC’s will be doing whatever - they have made our play just so much simpler.
As a yet - no news on the 5 foot extension. We have also opened up a comic and game store in Burbank, California - so that has taken all of our time. Once the dust settles, we will make plans to undertake more production steps.
If anyone comes to Burbank, make sure to come and visit us - we carry Pathfinder products and would love to meet our fellow Paizonians.
Good gaming everyone!

Mine just turned up the other day and I must say these things are freakin awesome. They are supersteady and can be stacked to a great height while still maintaining stability.
First time we use them one of my players was a halfling druid riding a cave gheko and it was so cool to actually have the mini up ofthe ground as she was 40' up. Also made working out line of sight a breeze.
5 stars for me.
As for the 5' bits, I would definitely buy some to add to the set.

Here was the 5-Star Review I posted under Tinkered Tactics Family Pack.
***** Five Stars, Very Awesome!
"My family pack of Combat Tiers, by Tinkered Tactics, arrived recently. They were packed safely for shipping from PAIZO, and were easy to assemble. They are designed with ease of usability in mind. As a gamemaster for over 25 years, it is a joy to have this well-engineered system of 3D combat tiers after all these years. The pieces are made of durable plastic and assemble quickly and easily. Each 5 and 10 foot increment is readily seen, and thin black lines provide quick height assessment at-a-glance. The base is sturdy enough to hold several tier platforms above it, along with combat miniatures. The strong but clear plastic material also manages to fade into the background for a stunning visual appearance of whatever is flying or hovering above.
I recommend getting the Combat Tiers Family Pack. I rate this product with the highest available rating. Its modular design enables the gamemaster to adjust any combat, round-by-round if needed, quickly and effectively for brilliant "realism" at the fantasy game table. Worth every cent of the investment. Built-in grids make movement and aerial combat easy, elegant and fun.
Just noticed the price changed on these at some point.
I paid $42.50 for mine with my 15% Pathfinder Advantage (down from $50).
Now they're only $40 for the same family pack!
I love these things. I don't use them every session but, well, I do use them in a lot of sessions. I haven't had occasion to use their full height yet, usually just using the top platforms and the bases.
The party fights Kir-lanan in the Shadow Plane. (Well, really just that fighter with the Regdar miniature was fighting them in the shot. They hadn't seen the rest of the party at this point.)
I have a picture where the (different) party fights vargouilles and zombies in the streets of Barovia too, but I haven't uploaded it yet. Maybe later. (The vargouilles are flying, not the zombies.)
The party druid turns into an owl and does nothing in combat? I use Combat tiers for that too. (I have no idea why he did that really. He just flew up to the ceiling of the cavern and hung out for a couple rounds.)
Also, DM Jeff, I'm envious of your minis in that game shot, I don't do miniature painting for one thing so I envy that, and for another I want the D&D Minis of succubus and erinyes that you have! Waaah!
Mine just arrived and I'm over the moon! I suspect I have more extension pieces than I'll ever use unless I buy more platform bits, but that's better than not having enough :-)
Can't wait til next week to try them out. maybe I'll write a review!

We had them last year at PaizoCon, so I bet we will again this year unless the publisher sells out of them and we don't have any stock available. But if we have them in the warehouse, we will have them at Paizocon!

Excellent! For books, I tend to blindly order. For stuff like this, I have to check them out first.
these are pics from my game last saturday where i used the tiers. I had each vertical cube count at ten feet so the highest platform is 100 feet high. I made this whole set up from one family pack of tiers and one boats and ships map pack from paizo.
The adventure is serpents of scuttlecove from the savage tide. The pcs ended up toppling the base instead of climbing and knocking everyone off and under the rubble. Then we used to combat tiers to show them fighting over diferent levels of rubble and to show the fight with the flying pirate boss in their above the rubble.
It was awesome and i am so happy one of my players took pictures.
