Is it September yet?
Now since its a new subscription for me I wish to be sure.
These card decks are part of the map subscription, correct?
The reason I ask is the deck of cards that have people on them seems to be part of my subscription orders, but this isn't, plus this product says there is a card subscription.
So I want to know if I need to order this separately, like it appears I do.

This is part of the cards subscription that includes item and face cards. The map subscription includes only map packs and flip mats. So yes, it looks like another subscription (or individual order) is in, er, order.

It looks like mine went out with #26. At least on order history anyways.
I had to take a double take, I kept seeing the Booster display I added to my subscription order but not the cards but on the third look found them.

Can we get a list of those items that match up with items in the AP (and where they match).

The new Card List....
After I posted the card list here, we reordered it (based on customer feedback) to group cards by type and then alphabetically. I've adjusted the list above to match. Thanks for mentioning it!

I have a strange question ... why is the emblem at the bottom right of this deck the same as the emblem used for the Legacy of Fire Deck? I try to keep track of where my cards come from (yeah, I know, a bit crazy) but this is the first time I've seen the emblem duplicated.

Sigh. That was... not planned.

Ah, yes... well... That's a feature!
This way, you can integrate your Council of Thieves cards seamlessly into your pre-existing Legacy of Fire game, and your players will think you went that extra mile to custom-order a huge expansion on their item cards, all for them. It's all part of our new "GM Plus" program :D
It's still in testing, of course, and may not be available in all markets. Check with your doctor to see if GM Plus™ Item Cards are right for you. Offer not valid in Canada.

LOL!
And sorry, Vic, didn't mean to prod a tender spot. I love my cards, and I'll just make sure to add the list to my master so I can keep 'em separate when I need to. It's definitely work aroundable, especially since the styles are definitely different. :)

I think it was planned. This way we addicts will order this set, then when it sells out Paizo, as part of their diabolical marketing plan, will then do a new set with the proper emblem. Of course we addicts will rush to order the new set as well. So double sales.

I am still thinking of getting the deck, but not sure if the Notes section will be feasible... How are people writing in the area on the back? Pencil? I wouldn't think a pencil would be dark enough on that kind of a card to really read clearly. Nor would you want to use ink because they never get to use that card again unless it has that specific trait.
Since the cards are all mundane without special powers/abilities/traits on the backs, we are to fill in the Notes area with whatever unusual stats that particular weapon has (other than basic stats)?
I like the idea of the cards, but I just don't know about writing on the backs of them without risking pushing too hard with the pencil and leave a permanent line or not hard enough and can't read the writing.

Card Sleeves and erasable markers.

One of the things I've done with these is put them in card sleeves and then put post-it notes folded up on the back of the card for when the item is identified or appraised, so until then, the character can carry around the card and not forget that they have an item on them that they haven't identified yet.

The area for notes is specifically left uncoated, and is also very light in color; I personally use a light soft pencil and have no problems reading it or erasing it.
