Actually, if you subcribe to DDI, you can get an online version of it. Which was probably the point of the end of pdf sales.

The DDI versions are the same as the book or a PDF of it. You can reference any of the crunch one ability at a time, or more importantly use them in the character generator. But you lose all the fluff, and flavour.
