I have a request for you, oh great and mighty Paizo. You have done such a magnificent job with the core classes that I feel I must beseech you.
To put it simply, make a Samurai class that doesn't suck!

Well I couldn't figure out where I had to click to start a new thread, or discussion as it's called here, in the general discussions so here is my observation: The spell "Shrink Object" is missing from the full spell descriptions. There, at least I got it in somewhere. Someone please enlighten me! cheers

Welcome to the boards! The shrink item spell is contained in the Web Enhancement, which is available in the same download as the (free) PDF version of the Beta rules.
If there is a location in the book that refers to the name 'shrink object' instead of 'shrink item', it is an editing mistake and should be reported in the 'typos and errata' thread in the appropriate playtest forum.
P.S. In order to create a new thread in any of the forums, simply go to that category, and there should be a link toward the upper right of the list labelled 'Add a new thread'.

I am wondering when the print version will be available again...I am starting a pathfinder campaign and I would love to have a print version to brose through when rule questions pop up.

The final print version of the Pathfinder RPG will be available this coming August. Until then, there will only be the PDF version available. Thanks for your interest!

Okay, for some reason the links for the free Beta pdf aren't working. I can't download them at all. I've tried repersonalizing them, I've tried making a new account, I've tried re-ordering the pdf. Essentially, I've tried everything the bloody web-page tells me to try, and nothing is working. Anyone know of anything I could be missing?

Hang in there, Joshua, and welcome to the boards. It will probably take a while for those on the West coast to get up and fix the issue, but they will certainly be along to do so--they're very responsive to us!

Can you be more specific about what's not working? Is it that you download the zipped file, and can't unzip it? If so, try a different unzipping utility—the default Windows unzipper sometimes tries unnecessarily to "protect" you from PDFs (and doesn't tell you that it's doing so).
Or is it something else?

Sorry about not being more specific. The link is not working at all. If I click on the link that connects to the .zip file download, nothing happens. My computer tells me that something is loading, but I've let it "load" for a number of hours and nothing happens. The thing is, the other links work just fine. I have downloaded the Magic Item Compendium and Prestige Classes book without problems. It's merely the link to downloading the Pathfinder Player's Handbook Beta PDF that's giving me trouble.

Any difference if you right-click the link (ctrl-click on a one-button Mac) and choose "Save As..." (or the equivalent)?

No, I'm afraid not. At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if something is blocking it, but I don't think that's the case. I've randomly gotten it to start the download once or twice, but at about 8% the connection fails, and I have to end it (aka, it is transferring 0 mbs). Anything else that could be causing this?

If anything, I'm perhaps even more stumped. Are you on dialup, or perhaps using a router or proxy server that isn't completely reliable?
Have you tried a different web browser, or a different computer?

I was also hoping to buy a hard copy and see that there aren't any left. I realize that Paizo is probably taking a loss on these and they have probably sold out on their first print run, but my gaming group would really like to get a print version to playtest before the new release (the prints from pdf that we have are very small)! Is it possible to release another print run? Even with a raise in price my group would buy an "official" Beta copy. It seems like there are people still asking for print versions. Please, please, please, another print run...

If we were to order a reprint of the Beta right now, it wouldn't arrive in the US until May, only a couple of months before the actual RPG arrives and much too late to actually help with the playtesting. The final RPG actually is going to press in the middle of April. So it just doesn't make any sense to do another print run. Sorry about that. :/

I love pathfinder and find it far better than 4e. My group has been using pathfinder enthusiastically since we began searching for an alternative after the disappointment of 4e.
Everything seems to work smoothly and I love the changes made to classes and races. The modification of the skills list is a good step forward, but still needs some work. I find the linguistics skill particularly ridiculous and feel that speak language should remain a seperate skill.

make sure you 'personalize' it. Then it should be easy.

Is there anywhere/any way I can get a print copy of the beta release for this? I really would like one until the book version is released in August. I have the free pdf but really want a print version.

Sorry—we've been out of them since about November.
It's ok to have your PDF printed and bound for personal use; otherwise, you'll have to try eBay or other secondary sources.

Which country (/state or city) do you live in? Maybe someone knows of a shop near you that has a copy.

When Alpha is released, will the Beta still be avaliable for download, or should I stash my copy somewhere on the harddrive?
