yes i see the rpgxplorer standard edition , but i mean is there a RPGXplorer—Characters & Rules 1.9.0—Gen Con Special Edition downloadable at same price (and not 39$ )
but it s seems not
Yeah right, where's the Special Edition download? I had a good play with the trial version and it's great stuff!
The Special Edition is CD-ROM only. You can build it yourself with the regular download and the free datasets... but it's actually cheaper to get it on disc right now!

I bought it.. I like the look and feel of the program, but as for right now I think I would rather wait for their 2.0 version. It was saying something about an upgrade to be available to use for the Pathfinder beta rules. Because as of right now.. it's a little difficult to get the things to load right for me. I want to edit the rules and put in the stuff for only Pathfinder, but it is a little difficult for something that touts no programming needed. it's only if you aren't going to touch their 3.5 rules that they had already inputed. Good program, I can see the polish, But personally I think you should wait for the update. I don't know if they'll be making us pay for the update or not to 2.0, but it doesn't seem like it.
If RPGXplorer does make a separator and let us use separate rules for Pathfinder, I will whole-heartedly agree on this program. But as for right now, it is hard to get the two sets of rules to load properly for me.. :(
and yes I did buy this, got in the mail, installed it. I didn't have any problems with running the program and I am use vista 64 bit version.

Just got this, and it is already making my life a lot easier. I am weak on math-fu, and this lil' gem takes all the skull sweat out of it!
what a gem! it is so cool to just peruse through something like the feats and find stuff from Dragonfall or Revenge of the Kobold King.
I cannot wait for the Pathfinder rules to get added!!!

The intention in 2.0 is to have two separate databases and switch between them.
There is no upgrade cost to 2.0.
Any idea when you might have 2.0 released? I would like to start using this for my Pathfinder Campaign. luckily our group has 3 gm's... and my campaign won't start for a little while.. but playing with this make it seem like it will help speed play and streamline a few things. I had no complaints with your software whatsoever as using 3.5. I just want the rules for Pathfinder implemented and I'll be completely satisfied with this software.
So as I asked.. when 2.0 coming out? rough guestimate? lol..
