Anyone care to give their view on this especially after the fiasco that was WOTC own version of this?
I'm not asking for a rehash of what was said for Wizards own version only the view on this product since by end of next week I hope to finally have the last of the 3 4e core rulebooks and am interested to see if this is worth picking up.
I like the Goodman one, but it could be improved on.

It sounds very useful. However, the WoTC Character Builder for D&D is up and running so you may consider that first.
THey are very differnt type of products..
THe Character Builder is software that you can use to make your character.
THe character Record Folio is like a Character Sheet +. If it is anything like 3.5 one it will have many other types of additionly additons to a character to sheet to record things that are not traditionaly on them. Like it says in the description of the product.
"like an advancement tracker, stats of legend, and adventure logs that help you track important events and NPCs"
Edit: Also this works better as a PDF and almost useless as a printed product.
I'd like to see software of this kind of product. I don't track my characters by pencil and paper any more except on game night and a lot of the people I play with don't even do that preferring to keep their characters organized on a lap top.

Have you taken a look at the Character Builder? It has the traditional character sheet information blocks (background, personality, appearance, etc.) as well as a journal feature where you can create and store entries (including pictures).
