I've read Troll Lord Games have lost the license to produce any further Castle Zagyg products. Is there enough of copies of the Upper Works to be distributed?

Thanks for your comments. If you can get it, I will place an order with you. However, I suspect that this will become very difficult to get, and I am not sure that it will ever get into distribution. If you could get back to us on this, that would be great. I was under the impression that it might be released on 11/13, but I would like to get confirmation of this.

So I've talked with my distributor and they will indeed have copies so I've placed a hold on a number of them for paizo.com. That means we will have some so please get your orders in for them asap. By doing this it will help me determine how many we really need (ie have I reserved too few) and they will be fulfilled in the order in which they were ordered.

As for the proposed release date of November 13th, they didn't hit that target date so I'm not entirely sure when we will have them. The good news is I speak with my distributor every day and he knows how important this product is to me so he's going to keep me posted on its release. When I hear more I'll post here.

I pre-ordered my copy of Upper Works from Paizo four months ago on July 11 --- it's good to hear your distributor may be getting some soon. I know Troll Lord has taken its time getting these to distributors, but it should be worth the wait...and it sound like the wait is almost over!

This product should be available next week and we have a pre-order that WILL be fulfilled. I can up my pre-order if we need more or I can order more if we run out but I think I should have enough to last us a bit.

Ok so I've placed the order and the books are shipping out to us today (arriving sometime next week) so pre-orders are guaranteed fulfilled and the rest will go fast.

too bad it doesnt use 3.0/3.5/pathfinder rules.

I think it will never be restocked, as the publisher no longer has the rights to sell it... but we'll check into it.

Around the time they were going to press, the publisher learned that their license for Gygax material would be ending, and they'd be unable to sell the book after the end of the year. Presumably, they only printed as many as they knew they could sell in a limited time.

I'm glad I picked it up as soon as Paizo got it in!

Yeah, I ordered directly from the Trolls early on because I wasn't sure this one would even make it out to the general public.

Gygax's last work - no way I was passing on that.

Actually the new version of LA that is going to be published through Mongoose's Flaming Cobra imprint is the last thing Gary was working on that is going to be published.

I'm not interested in it, but for those who want everything Gary did...

too bad... not even any pdf versions of this box. Gygax Games really made sure that there are no Castle Zagyg products left any more.

thanks for.keeping on tryng! I am pretty sure that a lot of your customers are as keen as me to lay hands on such a definite classic of our hobby!
